Infinity crashing through that Covenant cruiser and then launching several smaller battleships from it's own hangar bays is one of the greatest scenes in all of Halo

Gotta love it when lasky fucking sucker punches a Promethean knight with the butt of a shotgun lol. Makes you remember he was a soldier before becoming an officer lol.
I gotta say, I really enjoyed Lasky's character in H4. He felt human, but at the end of the day he seemed like he was doing the best he could.
And that's what makes him a great character, He was only human but damn if he didn't do everything he could for his crew and people.

I mean... Halo 5 was supposed to be the official end, besides we've had enough fighting religious fanatics for 5 halo games, why not fight someone else I guess? But infinite story and enemies and gameplay was fun tho. Beats the elites in 4 and 5.

Spartan Ops was my favorite thing about Halo 4, period. The absolute best.

Thorne was decent and had the potential to actually carry the legacy of the spartans.
I would love a halo TV show that was animated and done like these cutscenes from spartan ops. I honestly felt like the character in this with fire team majestic was really strong, and with a more fleshed out series could have become something really special.

Now don't get me wrong. Halo 4 Spartan ops is pretty fun and all, but they misunderstood the elites in the animations. The elites were agile, fast, and were amazing warriors, but here they were slow, brutish, and just not the same as they were in the previous games. Here they were more like brutes than elites.
Thats just kinda how they were handled in 4 and 5, even in actual gameplay

Fireteam crimson should have been in these cutscenes. We still have no idea who the fuck any of these randoms are.
They kinda set it up as a rival team, but they didn't commuicate that beyond that one competition mission in chapter 1 and some brief mentions throughout. Would have been pretty cool.
Crimson is the players fireteam in fire fight.
@@OutplanetStudios In my opinion we should've played as Fireteam Majestic, then the cutscenes would've had more relevance. They could've even had Fireteam Crimson as the fireteam in the background.
343 actually cooked with this, it’s a shame they couldn’t continue doing these cause of all the negativity

I honestly love the halo 4/5 sangheili design. I can see why people say they look a little bulky for elites but the armor and stature looks so badass

I never really knew about spartan ops, only kind of heard of it a few times. Due to it being in the Halo 4 and 5 era I didn't think it would be any good, but with a few extra scenes added to show how the characters got from place to place, this could be a good real movie.

I know the spartan IVs are not the badass, silent super-soldiers that the IIs are, but at times their banter is great and they're genuinely funny. Unpopular opinion, maybe?

I think 343 just simply has an issue with continuity and halsey should have been the antagonist in halo 5 and hunt the truth should have been masterchief finding out why it would have made more sence

Was it just me or were there WAY more missions for Spartan Ops for the 360 version of Halo 4?
For some reason in Master Chief Collection, theres a second download for the second half of spartan ops. Not sure if that's the issue or if you've already checked that lol There should be 50 missions total.

@@CougarinHalo Well, I'm 2 weeks out and I still can't figure out how I recorded that cutscene! I tried everything! 😂 Was a couple years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy on the process but I think I might have gone back to the original Halo 4 to record it. Either that or they have since removed it.

Lasky is a better captain than Del Rio. Del Rio deserved getting fired after that mission with the gravity well. To top this off, I took a liking to Thorne in this DLC. I like Fire Team Majestic’s reaction when they were playing around with Covenant technology.

I mean it's cool and all but I still don't get why no other ships went with the infinity other then it's frigate squadron.
The infinity has much more advanced slipspace drives than any other ship, meaning other ships would probably just slow it down and the UNSC wanted the infinity there asap

Halo has got to be one of the most well constructed universe's ive ever experienced. Iam surprised its just made up of games books and a few piss poor movies and one terrible series. If someone would come along and do it justice on the big screen it could be one of the best movies ever produced imho.

I cannot put into words how much I detest the Spartan Commander. She is callous, ignorant, impatient, and prone to emotional outbursts. She consistently proves that Halsey is right. Some of the newer Spartans are a disgrace to the name. She is not leadership material and every time she is depicted, I'm disgusted with the severe lack of restraint and maturity. It's lack watching a petulant child run around in battle armor.

The S4'rs are so bland and cliche this movie proves that, instead of 343 creating them in the guise of a true Special Operations Capable Force them made them Spartan wannabes and thst ruined their potential. They should have been created in the mindset of the Rangers (75th RR) just like the S1's were. Whoever that this portrayal was good, need to be ran out of Hollywood for complicating something so simple. The S4'rs have potential but they need to drop Palmer first then the S4'rs as Spartans second then rebuild them with a new image and portrayal befitting what their role would be truly to the UNSC and hint......not Spartan wannabes
I feel like the art style change for them in Infinite was moving more that direction. Looked a little more tanky like the S3s did, and they kind of got rid of the snarky attitude that they all had in the halo 4-5 series. Unfortunately the writers opted to off Halo's single player series entirely so these changes didn't matter anyway.🤦♂🤷♂

It still bums me out that the main game, Halo 4, recieved higher quality graphics just for it's opening and closing cutscenes. I have no clue as to why they put so much effort into Spartan Ops and gave Halo 4 the shaft. 😔

Interesting how fireteam majestic is apparently one of the best fireteams on the unsc infinity, I mean they're very prominent in Spartan ops! But my thought is, if they are some of the best or at least good enough to be Spartans I guess then why are they so bad at following orders in combat and also just jumping out of cover and getting folded in the process???

Okay but am I the only one who played all of Ops in singleplayer and just headcanoned it that "Fireteam Crimson" was just a Coverup by ONI for the one and only one man army known as Noble Six with a new name and upgraded armor? I even kept the same loadout I used for Lone Wolves: Magnum (Headcanoned to be Kat's), and Six's BR.

Gen 4 Spartans, say what you will about them, but honestly, they're Spartans all the same. 4 and 5 didn't really do them justice, I'll admit, made them feel like a bunch of ODSTs in MJOLNIR armor rather than legitimate Spartans. Gen 2's were Halsey's golden boys and girls, 3's did their best and held up the legacy. 4's deserve a better representation. I won't say they're a joke, but they definitely deserve better.
Halo 4 is where Halo actually ended. Halo 5 and Infinite are "a different universe" that goes with that stupid show they made.

Halo 4 and 5 have the best Spartan design armour and art style out of all games. Infinite felt a lot like Halo 3 but it was not a complete follow-up.
I love the undersuit designs from H4 and H5, more techy. but honestly I miss Reach hard plates on the armor. Looked way more realistic.
Spartan 4’s are a joke compared to the 2’s and 3’s. Those are real Spartans.
4s are the mass produced Spartans there not meant to be extremely dangerous like the 2s and cat 3s just there to buy time

Though if you want to read some books warhammer40k is a good read, it’s pretty much like halo and most would say it’s better lore wise.
