    These sound absolutely fantastic, they cross that fine border, from Eb to E.

    Mmmm, these are lovely Tim!! :-D Any idea why the front 6 have Yorkshire tails when the two tenors dont?!

    Oh right. ARC mentioned that the job was done on the cheap, using the old frame, wooden headstocks etc. They are pleasant but being a bit louder would improve them lots.

    It's usually st. Mike's that seen on the tv, as it's pretty much next door to headingley stadium. Pleasing 8 though

    If i remember correctly these were originally a Grimthorpe era ring, which Taylors were so ashamed of they recast them for nothing.

    Well yes they are pleasant, not excellent though although they probably could be. They are far too quiet. I suppose those ringing the tenors may have more need to significantly adjust the rope length? I like the idea of Yorkshire tails but don't think they are that practical and they are really quite cumbersome - wouldn't like to ring a peal on a bell with them!
