I live in Philly - was in 10th grade that season - my family had partial season tickets and I was 3rd row game 1 of Sixers Vs Raptors round 2. Best moments of my childhood.
Keep in mind the NBA, the media, and the refs were against AI! That machine (media) tried to destroy him, keep him down calling him a thug, and kept saying he would ruin the image of the NBA. You have refs go on record saying they targeted AI. Dave Stran took every opportunity to discipline and fine him every chance he got. Yet, Al became an All-Star player, he made the list of the 50th greatest players, MVP, and he made it in the HOA! Nothing was handed to him, unlike LeBron!
LeBron could do no wrong with that machine behind him holding him, making excuses, calling him the goat, and not holding him accountable for his failures.
Imagine what AI career would look like if he had the same machine in his corner working for him! This is why to me, AI is a better player than Lebum!
