    I just happen to finish Jordan's SLP YESTERDAY and got his book a week ago. I'm doing what I can to truly become "uncousciously competent" in sales and persuasion, as I have applied as a stockbroker in a firm that has huge potential here in my city (Balneário Camboriú - SC - Brazil). Jordan is such an inspirational character, I consider him one of my mentors.

    In my youth, I once closed a client at his mom's funeral. Between my first call and the end of the week his mom died but I needed to close the deal selling magazine advertising. The rapport I built with the client allowed me the chance to interrupt his grief with business. Jordan B would be proud. Thing then was I didn't like being a salesman but I knew how to get it done. Its all about building rapport quickly. Now I understand sales to be life itself.

      KJ Pierce I see it as an example of both. There are a lot of possibilites in the world, and if you just put your mind to it, there's a lot that you could achieve. But it takes passion and determination. Then again, of course, there's also the whole soulless, greedy asshole thing, in jail. But I watch the movie (a bit ironically) for motivation sometimes

    At 44:40, that was probably the first time I've heard Tai sound so genuine when he answers a question. Rather than just going "Yeah, obviously, I'm Tai Lopez, I can make a business out of anything" he actually stops to think about it. And something about his tonality, and body language, and humbleness makes him seem so much more relatable in this interview.

    During this interview with Jordan Belfort, brought an epiphany into my train of thoughts. This interview maybe me realize that having challenges and objections is a significant obstacle to have because it helps you grow. Thus, those obstacles, with practice, guide you into a direction of internal and external strength. I truly loved this interview, and what Belfort talked about how success works. Tai Lopez, you are a great person, and hopefully some day we get a chance to meet to hear more about being successful. Thank you for this wonderful advice!

      @nickcampbell8120 6 лет назад +1

      The book tells a little bit of behind the scenes on the wolf of wall st. Story.. although at the same time I feel as if I’m actually in his seminar. Very easy read

    • @aidanscovers
      @aidanscovers 6 лет назад +8

      Jordan, Its not that his book was bad it had a little entertainment value, maybe I went into it with the wrong expectations. I expected it to have more educational value, but instead It felt like a lot of filler and a few tips here and there, it gave a structure for his system but not a lot of specifics, in all I think he is leaving out a lot of material. To me it seems like he wrote the book, not for educating but for another promotional platform for his business, i.e. seminars etc Though I could be wrong I'm all about people figuring things out for themselves. If you think it will help you don't let my thoughts defer you.

    Belfort's system absolutely works. It's helped me so much in my life. I know I'm a goofy RUclipsr who makes videos with my mom, but I've become obsessed with learning Belfort's sales system and how to influence and persuade people (as well as sell yourself), and it's helped me so much. Everyone owes it to themselves to learn it if you really care about people and want to help them and yourself.

      Caring about people isn’t something that immediately springs to mind re Jordan B if he cared he wouldn’t have ripped off and destroyed many people’s lives.There aren’t any short cuts, I’ve been in sales all my life and it’s got me to where I want to be. I’ve worked all over the world most recently in Dubai. Yes positive attitude really works and a driving ambition is essential Id just exercise caution with anything that guy has to say given his background. He’s all about risk ...other people’s.!

    • @FlyingOverTr0ut

      Jack, exactly my thoughts on this. I mean, if you listen to what he says, lot of the stuff is simply true, but like you said, I would be extremely cautious with taking him as an example because there is still few shady stuff about him, like his coaching in Australia. + he still talks so quickly and his movements are just like he is still on drugs
