I have read several books about MacKenzie and Samuel Hearn. Those guys were amazing adventurers who almost lost their lives (starvation) on more than one occasion while exploring/traveling in the far north. Even today, the margin for error is still small when in the remote Canadian wilderness. I tip my hat to the locals living up there.
+Frontier Fishing Lodge I am very glad you like it and will be sure to upload other fisging reels I have... Though I must say I doubt I have any more Slave Lake stuff :(...
Money talks !! Sad that a country would let such a magnificent lake be ravaged by over harvest ..4 million pounds in 1 summer ..considering the slow growth of the fish it's a miracle it made a comeback.
That Fisheries officer is my Dad! Thanks to whoever posted this.
Hey, that fisheries officer is my grandfather! ;-)
Do you live at Great Slave lake or did you grow up there, perhaps.
@@paulbriggs3072 We left there in 1959
