    I have read several books about MacKenzie and Samuel Hearn. Those guys were amazing adventurers who almost lost their lives (starvation) on more than one occasion while exploring/traveling in the far north. Even today, the margin for error is still small when in the remote Canadian wilderness. I tip my hat to the locals living up there.

    Money talks !! Sad that a country would let such a magnificent lake be ravaged by over harvest ..4 million pounds in 1 summer ..considering the slow growth of the fish it's a miracle it made a comeback.
