CT side looks softer, more blended
To me rare beauty seems to have the aesthetics that suits the younger generation (clean , glowy, fresh faced look) whereas CT seems dated in terms of products, packaging.
the packaging designs of CT definitely move them away from the appeal of gen z, notice that brands that are popular among younger audiences have innovative well though out designs that have a whole concept behind it (like rare beauty)
@@newvouz You’re saying that Gen Z loves stuff that has thought behind it and older generations are dumb. LOL. If a brand doesn’t have very basic standard packaging there’s always thought behind it.
CT seems to appeal more to MUA influencers than general makeup fans/users. CT’s prices just seem nuts when there are so many decent dupes.
As someone who who has not tried a lot of high end foundations, I’m not an expert but I love the rare beauty foundation. Easy to use for everyday.
@@CherryJuli ??, I'm not saying any generation is dumb or better than other, this is a analysis of historic of makeup designs in the past decades. Back them the brands weren't TOO concerned about how the packaging affects the marketing, so more basic (but still pretty) packs appeals more for mature people till this day. But time changes and now the design team are very into thinking of new forms, colors and creativity to put outside a product. If you interpreted my comment in other way is aways nicer to just ask 😉
That CT glowgasm highlighter is literally my all time favorite and I have same Rare Beauty one and I love it, but there is something about that CT one that is soooo beautiful

I love the discontinued CT Light Wonder foundation and I could find the shade Light 1 on Amazon 🤩 The Beautiful Skin is flattering on my skin, but I don't like the one you mentioned, I find it too "heavy" and makeupy. I haven't tried the Rare Beauty luminous blush yet, but I'm very tempted... I kind of think it's an alternative to the Sisley Orchidee blush (well, in my very humble opinion, at least...), that I won't definitely buy because it's OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive, no matter how pretty it looks 😐

This is such an honest confession from your side. People seem to be scared to say if they don’t like Rare Beauty products. Their drying lip oils are ph lip stains that turn pink in couple of minutes. The blush don’t last . Maybe other products are good. But at least rare beauty is vegan and cruelty free unlike CT

What I have found with Charlotte’s products is the more I have on my face the better I look overall, even though each individual product might get beat out by another

CT Push Up mascara in Dream Pop is one of my favorites for a burgundy look, makes my brown eyes pop! I even have that CT highlighter I need to use it more. Team CT, looks a little brighter but the Rare beauty side looks good too and is cheaper! Fun video!

In my opinion, Charlotte Tilbury seems to have more unique, innovative products that get recommended heavily like the Hollywood Flawless Filter and the Airbrush Setting Spray. Rare Beauty has more forgettable products and I never hear people talk about RB in real life.
it happens the other way round for me i never hear anyone talk about CT but I do Rare Beauty and even in Sephora so many people come in just for Rare Beauty and so many products are always sold out

With the trend of complexion this days in the beauty industry and the lack of importance to the eyes I think Charlotte Tilbury is the best. Doesn’t have aesthetic packaging as Rare Beauty and cannot beat the the price point… but when I look to the rare beauty cheek it looks messy and patchy but the Charlotte one looks incredible !🤩

I unfortunately returned the rare beauty glowy blush and I do not have textured skin. It’s a major fail unfortunately.
CT side looks wayy better omg I need to buy that blush and highlighter. That side looks beautiful, healty, glowy but the Rare Beauty side looks dull and really emphasized texture.

I prefer charolette tilbury side, and products just in general. I love the CT cream bronzer but haven't tried the rare. I haven't loved a ton of rare beauty products. I love the brushes and highlighter. I do love the CT highlighters too though. Idk that I've loved anything else from rare.
Yeahhh I regret my RB highlighter…I have not tried CT highlighter. I do love Iconic London highlighters.

I prefer CT as it feels more lux and adult, while Rare beauty seems less so and marketed at a younger crowd. I also don't like many of the rare beauty products, not much of their stuff worked out for me.

Morgan please try the mini mascara from CT it’s one my favourite mascaras but I use the mini brush in the bigger tube I get false look lashes with it people even asked me do you have lashes on with it
The face makeup is CLEARLY better on the CT side. The RB side is more textured and the colors together looks worse than without makeup. Plus when you come back a few hours later the RB side looks aged. Can't believe RB has gotten all the hypes for these effects

I find CT has overall more staple products but she has been around a lot longer, i think Selena is innovative and appeals to young women ( unlike me 😢) She has just started....i cant use her highlighters, new blushes it would not go well with my skin.....😢
I haven’t had good luck with much of RB, I like the powder highlight and that’s about it. To be honest, Selena dropping makeup was very out of left field in my mind. Charlotte was known for the VS Angel glow in the VS fashion show era, so it was understandable for her to launch her line, also, her skin like is quite nice. CT seems to be more of a luxe themed brand. I think both have a pretty specific and loyal following. But they do give similar looks.
They are both very pretty! But I think the CT cheek is better bcuz it was a liquid.. you only did powder on the RB side.. That really makes a difference.. I LOVE THEM BOTH!

I just bought 2 little tools just like the applicator on the Rare beauty. I got them at the Dollar Tree. It is perfect for digging out lip products out completely and put it in a little Hello Kitty lip gloss Petrie dish. 😂 It was a favourite tinted lip balm. So moisturising by Mischo and I just love them on while I sleep. 😊❤ Love this k8nd of video.
I do like CT products. I've really been getting into their skin products. Their moisturizer, oh man, so good. So smooth and luxurious. I prefer the CT side. It looks more classy and smooth.

I will say that I have tried Rare Beauty and I have returned EVERY product I have tried. Most recent being the blush, I found it patchy and not very flattering on my mature skin. I’m also iffy on CT however, I do have some of her products. I would like to see CT vs TF! Or even ND.

I love the formula of the Charlotte Tilbury brow pencil, but with this brand and in general i find myself struggling to find a medium blonde COOL brown ... so i went for the Rare beauty.
Morgan does the Charlotte Tilbury blush and highlight compact have glitter/sparkle, or is it just shimmer? It is so hard for me to find a highlighter without without glitter/sparkle. I was set on the Fenty demi’glow, but I’ve read a bunch of reviews that it keeps breaking in the compact, so now I’m stuck looking for an alternative. Thanks in advance if you’re able to answer this!
i think happy would have been a better shade choice for the rare powder blush in how close it is to pinkgasm
Rare beauty eyebrow gel used to be my # 1 until I tried the new ABH brow gel and it’s sooooo much better. Rare beauty has been dethroned

17:52 you’re right 💯 %…I have oily combo & textured skin. I used my Haus Labs blush in (Fire moon) & topped it with ‘Love.’
I used a smaller light-fluffy brush; it came out beautifully. At first swatch I didn’t like it in Sephora, but then I decided to smudge the color with my hand; I knew I needed a smaller version of her recommended RB brush.
Imo her brush is too dense for the formula. 😅

I love my CT products. I mix brands so I don't use the blush, concealer and I do use the bronzer, foundation for full coverage days and lipsticks. I have never used Rare Beauty maybe I should try some mascara from them.
I have sensitive eyes (so I love it), however it takes a bit to dry down.

The CT cream bronzer might be more expensive but it contains 21g while the Rare Beauty one only contains 7g, making the latter much more expensive.
