This episode was a Pilot for a Spinoff Show called the Girl From Ilandia.
That show would have been so cool if they aired it. I would not even mind it being animated.
Wonder Woman has many powers though I believe the budget at that time wouldn't allow the show to be as creative. I love episodes like this because it showed Yet another power in Wonder Woman's Arsenal...
Wonder Woman could've asked her mother if there's any way to find the doorway to send the girl from Islandia back to her home world after she was kidnapped by a mad genius.
Wonder Woman could’ve asked for Queen Hippolyta’s permission to bring Tina to Paradise Island so Tina could receive her training there.

I don’t like Wonder Woman’s auburn hair here. I am thinking it’s a hairpiece, but it should definitely be a few shades darker.
I did read that for a large amount of the series, Lynda did wear a wig/hairpiece, so she didn't damage her real hair from constant styling. The best place to see this is the episode where she hangs upside down and her hair sticks straight out to the sides rather than falling straight down like long natural hair would. I do agree that whether wig or natural, her hair does have a light brown/auburn coloring in this scene which differs from the dark brown/black coloring she has for most of the series.
I wonder why she stopped acting?
Didn't stop, just got more diversive doing TV movies, guesting on series "Supergirl", and following a music career. There has also been a renewed demand for her to appear at Wonder Woman events. Her daughter Jessica recently quit being a lawyer to pursue singing as well.

No, they look similar. Alison Arngrim played Nellie Oleson on Little House from 1974-1982, and the only two shows she guest starred on during that time was The Love Boat & Fantasy Island.
