THE WIZ

Ease on down the road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and Bad Boy recording artist Robert Curry of Day 26 as the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they try to figure out how to get Dorothy back to Kansas. "The Wiz" is a funky musical take on L. Frank Baum's "The Wizard of Oz". Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Embark on this "Afro-futuristic Oz-some" family-friendly adventure through a magic land where you'll meet munchkins, funky monkeys, Addaperle and Evillene. Catch it live at Columbia Secondary School as part of the New York Black Arts Festival.
