That panels states 5v 4.4A (max). VxA=22W of usable power (and only in full direct sunlight). Having 4.4A is handy, because most cell phones and smaller electric devices usually only need around 1A to properly charge, and tablets (like the iPad) need around 2A. So you could technically charge two cell phones/devices and a tablet at the same time (if you had bright direct sunlight).
They work good, but now I would probably go for one with USB C and quick charge. 12V output would be nice also. If I'm being honest, I opt for a compact Li-ion jump starter power pack everywhere I go. Similar weight and size and all of the power options I need.
Can this charge the Portable Power Bank 20400 mAhpower "Omnicharge" and if so will you do a review? Thank you, your reviews are awesome, keep up the great work!
@@GadgetClass that's total amp's. For real with that charming personality. If $42.99 is outside of your budget you might just suck at RUclips. Just saying.
@@leonardhall7203 I have reviewed 7 of these on RUclips. These videos don't really make any money. For this reason I'm not going to buy and review more of them.
This model stopped working for me after a few days, i.e. indicator diode no longer lights up, no charge despite good sun & whichever port I'm using across a variety of cables & devices. Terribly disappointed.
GadgetClass BigBlue refunded me after a few email exchanges as they couldn't ship a replacement to my country. What was strange is, shortly after I emailed them about the defective piece, it resumed working for a while & stopped working again. I suspect the internal wiring is snapped partially & that could explain why the piece work/don't work as I flex it while shifting it about...
Interesting, they divided the Sunpower's cells into three, so each panel is 3 volt 2 amps, two panels in series for 6 volts 2 amps, if you shade one cell, you cut out the two panels or half the power... that would not work for me, I wrapped my four panel unit around my backpack, so it faces three different directions, to get sun almost anyway I walk...mine have four 5 volt 1.2 amp panels...
GadgetClass might be a new 'brand' called, 1 by one... 24 w four panel... only $40~ on amazon, other models use 5.5 volt panels, but since we all are charging 3.7-4.2 v batteries, I figured try for the most amps and 5 volts...
I've been looking everywhere for a resource to tether up a USB multi-port so I can plug it into the battery! I might just go out on the limb and give it a try oh, maybe I'll figure out a workaround to plug USB into direct current 14 Volt
M Mcgee Lol. No. Today, even things that say made in the USA still use components manufactured somewhere else in the world. These are manufactured entirely in china.

Yep. I demonstrated that in the video.
Great video thanks !!! What type of load tester did you use and where can I purchase it? Thanks ...
Excellent review.
What's that fan thing plugged into the usb port? what does it do?
I realized it won’t charge as fast if the battery is above 70-80%, but if below that it charges pretty well and fast better than most that size
I just recently purchased one and didn't realize they were so old. How do you like your product now?

So is it 21 watts as claimed? You left the most important part out.
28 watts at the panels

It can. may need a USB to barrel plug adapter though. I would love to review one if I can get them to send me one.
That's great and thank you for the reply! I hope they send you one, i will be watching xD
Damn. How many YT channels do you have? I keep having to chase you down. lol
You need to review the new model. It's 24 watts 4 panels. But supposed to be around 4.4 amp's output.
I find 4.4 amps hard to believe...
Not going to spend money to buy one for review.

Does this solar panel charger restart and back to power 2A from cloudy to full sun?
Red light on, no charge. Mine does not even say charging, the cord might as well be a piece of yarn.
What is that little orange device you're using @ 2:14?
pNoid2k1 a SUB multimeter very similar to the other one.
GadgetClass perhaps I should've asked where you got it ? Or if you have a link ? Thanks
GadgetClass I meant , the USB monitor? I have a keweisi...just trying to look for others
pNoid2k1 Lol. Sorry. I would recommend one of the non-cabled versions like the Droks or your kiewesi. amzn.to/2q1KBE7

ralliart12 These (all brands) are all made in the same factory. I would exchange it for a new one as duds happen.

Just got mine today took out of the box...charged it some and doesn't work AT ALL
Send it back.
question, does this panel have adaptive charging for quick charging?
kd7alt Unfortunately not. Adaptive charging requires special circuitry.
