My MC is 29° Pisces, Neptune is 29°, NN is 29° (SN conjunct Neptune) and my AC/DSC is 28 ° Totally right about Neptune. I tend to just float around the world like a faerie, never really touching anything or applying myself to anything real. My Neptune is in Sagittarius and to be attached to reality seems a bit...confining to be honest. My dreams are where I spend most of my time and I've been that way my whole life. What about the North Node in the Anaretic Degree? I have it there conjunct Dejanira and Regulus, in Leo at the 2nd house, quinunx my Mid Heaven (Venus is 9 degrees to MH, in Aries) and MH trining my moon in Sagitarius, placed at the bottom of a T Square, at the same time the Moon trining my Venus too... My Pluto is 29th degree. I can attest that I go extreme on the "ALWAYS have to change, transform, evolve, no matter what" scale. I cannot attest to the opposite (that the energy gets tied up, ineffective) unless I'm forgetting something... except to say that when I spiritually "overdo it" in this way this transformative urge leaves me for days long periods after those massive shifts. My Neptune is 28th degree. I heard someone else say that some astrologers lump it with the 29th degree in this way. If so, I can say very similar things for Neptune and a dreamy, artsy disposition. Would it be accurate enough (though perhaps glib) to summarize 29th degrees as a kind of.... bipolar extreme of the planet's energy? I really appreciate your work! I can go a long time without feeling anything, but then out of nowhere, I explode (8th house) with all of these emotions & I don’t know where they come from. This is a very interesting placement to me, and your description of how you experience it. I found this video looking for information on the anaretic degree of points and nodes, but I am intrigued by combinations of Gemini and Scorpio including when Scorpio rules the 3rd, Gemini the 8th, or planets in one or the other sign is in the other's house. I guess the anaretic degree increases Gemini's dislike of emotion and as you said, the tension is amped up in the 8th.
A planet in Libra if you use the 2 and half degrees of a sign it would have the Virgo energy and then you look at the Parallel it goes to Aries , look at the planets in Virgo and Aries it would give more info, I use the Fixstars influence, I count the planet from his home and then start from Aries, shows you the connection clearly. I have Mercury in Gemini at the 29th °. I agree with the self confidence piece BUT I believe it's b/c we are so ahead of our time. People are not on our wavelength. As far as a planet being 'old' I think there is a stigma with age in our society. As the Western old becomes older we will appreciate the wisdom of being 'older'. Being old is just not sexy...so we see it as 'bad'.

I highly disagree that 29th degree is a negatively behaved elderly anoretic degree. I find that they are MOST critical and obviously matured. I find it simultaneously knows how to laser- sharp read the true core of its sign from fellow sign. As a child I was often approached by adults for advice-particularly my oldest sister who is a Virgo Sun and I’m a Virgo moon at 29 degree. The downside is that I DETEST speaking about my feelings/emotions. I act very stoic. Everything else I can see that to mostly likely be the case.
I find that having a 29th degree in any sign gives you a certain maturity of that sign and anyone with it that has a lesser degree in the same sign. I understand people’s motives and all the hidden meanings behind their actions/words. Am I the only one?

Astrology Podcast did a whole episode on cusps and their reality. I am so bummed when people choose supremacy of a system over the philosophy's purpose in itself. What I mean to say is, in Tropical or Sidereal my signs change, but not always, like in Chinese or Mayan it is different, but together creates a unique version of me. Cusps do this too, it's lore based on theoretical physics like astrology itself, and to say they aren't real is using the same argument for why people say astrology is not real... That it has to be a certain way in a certain system at an exact degree only "real" in that system and that system alone. I am 1 degree Sun conjunct a 28 degree planet in Tropical, and I call myself a cusp because the Sun is not who I am, the combination of planets, and who I say I am, is who I am. It's like the transgender or biracial argument but sillier because I am not talking about my physical sex and my chosen gender or race. I will combine the best of all charts where the cusp liberates the potential of my personality instead of further pinpoints me into somebody else's description. Famous line from science fiction author Arthur Clark (2001, Space Odyssey): "I'm a Sagittarius, I don't believe in astrology..." read that again...

Hello, I'm your Pluto twin - exactly the same house, sign & degree! Honestly, I feel like the anaretic degree hasn't affected me at all - my Pluto is neither under nor overactive. It is a major theme in my life, but it's not like I'm constantly transforming, (a few major transformations so far). I have a lot of Pluto in my chart, though, so maybe my Pluto would have otherwise been weak, but it's strengthened by the aspects, the planets in Scorpio, and because it's my chart ruler. I think the Libra part has to do with balance, and also how I relate to others. The fact that it's in the 12th House means that I transform my inner psychology and spirituality. It also unfortunately can make me very blind to my own inner psychology until I'm *forced* to change by unpleasant circumstances, or I get a sudden insight into myself, otherwise I'm very good at playing the ostrich, despite being very insightful when it comes to others. I also do feel that 12H Pluto is heavily karmic, as 12H is said to relate to the anscestors, and I know that in my family there is some pretty heavy stuff that's been handed down the generations, relating to spirituality and psychology, and I feel that my role in this lifetime is to transform that karma and break the pattern and not hand it down to the next generation. WOW! ~ This is very interesting. I had this as a composite Moon with an Ex at 29'33 ARI in the 9th house. This composite Moon also forms a trine with the composite Sun 0'27 VIR conj. Mercury 0'38 in VIR, still in the 12th house while the ASC in that composite chart is at 2'44 VIR. Contemplating this about the relationship brings clarity. Emotions weren't really discussed deeply, and the main aspect of this relationship, after a really passionate start (My Moon in Synastry in his 8th house TAU) daily life turned very 'domestic' and there was a busyness about every day life things going on where there was not much time left for romance. Although the composite Sun/Mercury conjunction seemed kinda fated, due to it's 12th house placement, yet I more sensed that the real 'interaction' took place non-verbally, and I also felt that a deep emotional bond was constantly blocked, where I did not feel valued anymore, nor did my Taurus Moon feel emotionally secure for that it came across to me that my Ex took his feelings away from me, no matter how wonderful the 'bed-time-stories' were. The one-on-one time we spent, truly spent in regards to quality time, had started to deteriorate. It was very painful for me. I started to feel very lonely in that relationship, although I'm not someone that feels that way easily. I have been single for several years now, and I miss nothing in that sense, I'm very well on my own, but when in a relationship the theme is 'relating' which I felt was totally amiss. There are other 'karmic points' yet it looks like they weren't sufficient to make it last.

If you are speaking of vedic astrology thats correct, if not the degrees must be counted 23 to 24 degrees backwards, some houses the first degree is the old degree, aneretic usually is used when a planet , specially the moon becomes aneretic, burned by the sun.

@@Krapsla I learn vedic astro, without your day of birth to know where your sun is its not easy to say anything, I work from the sun , then AC , you could tell a lot or at least see the family constelations, future births and people that past away before you were born, most of these astrologers do only aspects and tell you when would be a good time for a job or when will I fall pregnant. The birthchart could tell you who your mother is and when is your dads birthday, if a astrologer cannot tell you that then see that you get out fast, they are wasting your money. The critical degrees is a place where jupiter or the sun all the other planets has a danger point, the combination of aspects could give you a clue what could happen- like a virgo- mercury also rules the 10th house, if mercury is in the 4th house with bad aspects you could have a accident, dogs involved, you could run over a dog and even get badly hurt if the aspects allow that, moon involved. So you have to learn astrology and do a lot of research to learn this, it does not help to know that its a critical degree if you have no knodlege of astrology. Hugs

How do u feel about the anareric degree in a composite chart?
I highly disagree that 29th degree is a negatively behaved elderly anoretic degree. I find that they are MOST critical and obviously matured. I find it simultaneously knows how to laser- sharp read the true core of its sign from fellow sign. As a child I was often approached by adults for advice-particularly my oldest sister who is a Virgo Sun and I’m a Virgo moon at 29 degree. The downside is that I DETEST speaking about my feelings/emotions. I act very stoic.
Everything else I can see that to mostly likely be the case.
I find that having a 29th degree in any sign gives you a certain maturity of that sign and anyone with it that has a lesser degree in the same sign. I understand people’s motives and all the hidden meanings behind their actions/words.

mars in taurus 8th house at 29 degrees. i’m a survivor of 8th house themes of abuse, and i sometimes wonder if i was the abuser in a past life when i see these karmic things in my chart, and things like my T-square configuration of mars-venus-pluto. i also have mercury in gemini 9th house at 29 degrees (retrograding as well🥴). i have a math learning disability and adhd, and growing up yes there was a lot of anxiety around verbalizing the intelligent thoughts in my mind. i would come off less intelligent than i am, further making me feel less understood. Bri7385 No, midpoints at critical degrees are their own beast. It is about it being critical that you express both your masculine and feminine equally

Whew. ASC/DSC and the Nodes are anaretic (square each other), while MC/IC is at 28°56' so they may as well be.
Vertex conjunct the DSC is pert-near. =)

Astrology Podcast did a whole episode on cusps and their reality. I am so bummed when people choose supremacy of a system over the philosophy's purpose in itself. What I mean to say is, in Tropical or Sidereal my signs change, but not always, like in Chinese or Mayan it is different, but together creates a unique version of me. Cusps do this too, it's lore based on theoretical physics like astrology itself, and to say they aren't real is using the same argument for why people say astrology is not real... That it has to be a certain way in a certain system at an exact degree only "real" in that system and that system alone. I am 1 degree Sun conjunct a 28 degree planet in Tropical, and I call myself a cusp because the Sun is not who I am, the combination of planets, and who I say I am, is who I am. It's like the transgender or biracial argument but sillier because I am not talking about my physical sex and my chosen gender or race. I will combine the best of all charts where the cusp liberates the potential of my personality instead of further pinpoints me into somebody else's description. Famous line from science fiction author Arthur Clark (2001, Space Odyssey): "I'm a Sagittarius, I don't believe in astrology..." read that again...

Hello, I'm your Pluto twin - exactly the same house, sign & degree! Honestly, I feel like the anaretic degree hasn't affected me at all - my Pluto is neither under nor overactive. It is a major theme in my life, but it's not like I'm constantly transforming, (a few major transformations so far). I have a lot of Pluto in my chart, though, so maybe my Pluto would have otherwise been weak, but it's strengthened by the aspects, the planets in Scorpio, and because it's my chart ruler. I think the Libra part has to do with balance, and also how I relate to others. The fact that it's in the 12th House means that I transform my inner psychology and spirituality. It also unfortunately can make me very blind to my own inner psychology until I'm *forced* to change by unpleasant circumstances, or I get a sudden insight into myself, otherwise I'm very good at playing the ostrich, despite being very insightful when it comes to others. I also do feel that 12H Pluto is heavily karmic, as 12H is said to relate to the anscestors, and I know that in my family there is some pretty heavy stuff that's been handed down the generations, relating to spirituality and psychology, and I feel that my role in this lifetime is to transform that karma and break the pattern and not hand it down to the next generation. Do you relate to any of this?

+cxy No, it’s considered an outer planet, as well (but less so if that makes sense.)
Outerplanets include pluto, uranus, neptune, some use lillit and chiron.

I had this as a composite Moon with an Ex at 29'33 ARI in the 9th house.
This composite Moon also forms a trine with the composite Sun 0'27 VIR conj. Mercury 0'38 in VIR, still in the 12th house while the ASC in that composite chart is at 2'44 VIR.
Contemplating this about the relationship brings clarity.
Emotions weren't really discussed deeply, and the main aspect of this relationship, after a really passionate start (My Moon in Synastry in his 8th house TAU) daily life turned very 'domestic' and there was a busyness about every day life things going on where there was not much time left for romance. Although the composite Sun/Mercury conjunction seemed kinda fated, due to it's 12th house placement, yet I more sensed that the real 'interaction' took place non-verbally, and I also felt that a deep emotional bond was constantly blocked, where I did not feel valued anymore, nor did my Taurus Moon feel emotionally secure for that it came across to me that my Ex took his feelings away from me, no matter how wonderful the 'bed-time-stories' were.
The one-on-one time we spent, truly spent in regards to quality time, had started to deteriorate.
It was very painful for me. I started to feel very lonely in that relationship, although I'm not someone that feels that way easily.
I have been single for several years now, and I miss nothing in that sense, I'm very well on my own, but when in a relationship the theme is 'relating' which I felt was totally amiss.
There are other 'karmic points' yet it looks like they weren't sufficient to make it last.

If you are speaking of vedic astrology thats correct, if not the degrees must be counted 23 to 24 degrees backwards, some houses the first degree is the old degree, aneretic usually is used when a planet , specially the moon becomes aneretic, burned by the sun.

@@Krapsla I learn vedic astro, without your day of birth to know where your sun is its not easy to say anything, I work from the sun , then AC , you could tell a lot or at least see the family constelations, future births and people that past away before you were born, most of these astrologers do only aspects and tell you when would be a good time for a job or when will I fall pregnant. The birthchart could tell you who your mother is and when is your dads birthday, if a astrologer cannot tell you that then see that you get out fast, they are wasting your money. The critical degrees is a place where jupiter or the sun all the other planets has a danger point, the combination of aspects could give you a clue what could happen- like a virgo- mercury also rules the 10th house, if mercury is in the 4th house with bad aspects you could have a accident, dogs involved, you could run over a dog and even get badly hurt if the aspects allow that, moon involved. So you have to learn astrology and do a lot of research to learn this, it does not help to know that its a critical degree if you have no knodlege of astrology. Hugs

According to astrology i was going to have a misscarriage, yet i gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy. But my chart seems like i was supposed to have a daughter. @@Krapsla Hi Krapsla, I hope you're OK after getting hit by that car! Please could you explain why having Mars on the Asc, Uranus 1H, and a fire Moon can cause an accident? Does it apply if these are in the natal chart? I have these exact 3 things in my natal chart, so as you can imagine I'm a little intrigued and worried! Well, my Mars is Conjunct the Asc, (about 3° orb), not exactly on it, so I don't know whether it even counts. Anyway, thanks in advance for any further info on this.
