1978年、ヤマトと衝撃の出会いからずっとファンです。10歳の私は意味が分からないのに熱くなり必死に追いかけたヤマト！今はアラフィフ世代になり、親になり、まだ熱い気持ちで子にヤマトを伝えています。ヤマトは裏切らない、いつでも救ってくれると。
同じくアラフィフです。
30年のブランクがあっても、これら珠玉の音楽の音楽があったからこそ変わらず「好き」を続けてこられました。
当時は手に入れられなかった収録不明の音楽も聴く事ができ、やはり『最高』というのを再認識する次第です。
ヤマトは人類最後の希望です

同じ思いで子供の頃からファンでいまだに大いなる愛を聴くとさらばのヤマトの最後を思い出し涙出ますよ

78年版のYamato Theme を聞いて、感涙してしまった。最近涙腺が弱くなったよ。
一番好きなテーマソングで力強さを感じた。見事なフル・オーケストラ編成で良かった。
いつ聴いても魂が揺さぶられてしまう。ヤマトの音楽とはそういうものです。
私が小学校６年生頃にアニメ宇宙戦艦ヤマトをテレビで見ましたその後ヤマト2宇宙戦艦ヤマト新たなる旅立ち～ヤマトよ永遠に～完結編迄見て来ました感動させられました
この少しゆっくり目の「宇宙戦艦ヤマト ベストコレクション」は僕が長年待っていた音楽です。本当に素晴らしいです。
ヤマトが 放映されたのが 小４〜小５の 時 あれから 今でも大ファンです 特に 愛の戦士たち 完結編が
忘れられません

This anime always gave me hope and teached me that only one doing good deeds makes everything go back to good again... it's hard but is doable... Greetings from Brazil where Yamato was aired in 1983 in the extinct Manchete TV.

My father introduced me to the original Space battleship Yamato (Starblazers) about 10 years ago. It was awesome.
a few years ago i introduced him to the new Yamato, and he loved it.

2199/2202/2205 is a truly rare example of a remake done *right* Just look at all the plot holes from the original they closed in season one, and it only gets stronger from there.

You would think that after a while the different space bad guys would pass along a memo reminding them to never give Yamato's band time to play.

And this ghost ship is back from its slumber and ready for one (ok, more than one) hell of a fight!
Gamilons don't have shit on the warships of old. imagine iowa, or bismarck side by side just behind yamato
Imagine if you will the Yamato getting into all sorts of fighter troubles, her Black/Cosmo tigers getting hammered as they defend their ship.
Suddenly a whole new slew of contacts appear, panicking the bridge crew; only to see that the contacts descend upon the unsuspecting Gamalions (typo?).
The lead fighters flashing past bearing EDF colors but distinctly different shapes and mixing it up royal. Then a new warp contact right behind the firefight as the 'Gray Ghost' comes out of her warp, launching a whole new wave of fighters.
Another voice joins the comms net "Sorry we're late Yamato, but let's show these guys what fighting really means!'

@@alexbailey2457 The only reference I could find for "Gray Ghost" from WWII is the Queen Mary troopship. Which doesn't seem to fit. A space-faring version of Lexington WOULD. But she was known as the "Blue Ghost" apparently.
Or are you referring to something else entirely? In any case - striking mental imagery there to go with the music! :D

1974ヤマトは、色々なバージョンがあって､自分の買ったバージョンでは元祖ヤマトのthemeになって居ました。
1978はさらばのバージョンでは？ないかな。
1983は完結編？ですか？

1:10 なぜここで切る？
音源元がBGM集でこの後の部分はリピートなので、BGMがリピートに入ったと分かるようにして当時のcd（レコード）は切ったと思われます。当時はさらばヤマトの前（アニメブーム前）に作られたものなのでホントの意味でBGM集としての処理しかされてないのでしょう。BGM集が売れまくる時代が来るなんて思ってないでしょうし。

@@赤岡徹 余談といいますか、最初の曲「元祖ヤマトのテーマ」は、今回のバージョンの他にも2曲あります。今回のをタイプA(エンディング違い)といい、タイプB(1番終了後Aのように尾切れにならないタイプ) タイプC(1番終了後、2番を2コーラス目から演奏し終了するもの)の3つバージョンか確認できます。それぞれの場面に応じて使い分けされてます。
