As Geele owns Lotus, if sale Emira to Chinese market that would bring large profit to Lotus, that can build more production linens and produce more vehicles, models. Just a thought.
Their strategy is to build EV SUVs in China to help prop up sales and earn the money required for Lotus to build more sports cars in the UK. Which so far seems to be working, but they need to up the quality of their software stability in their SUVs and also up the production quality of their sports cars in the UK, because from what I witnessed, the cars coming out of China has much better buil quality than the ones coming out of the UK

I did the tour on Sept. 19th. I would say no. None of the completed Emiras in the holding lot had the amber strip on the outside of the headlights, designating a U.S. car.
