Enjoyed this vlog. If you’re blown away by the beauty of Kelowna, wait till you see the rest of BC. Kelowna is definitely beautiful but it’s not the most scenic place in BC.
Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoy this long travel vlog!! Have you ever been to BC before? We had the best time ever!! Now looking at flights for our next adventure :)
Was so good having you guys in Kelowna!! We miss you already!! Love the video and had the best time ever!! Next time, we're coming to you! Lots of Love, Anna and Marc x
Loved your video! You have me wanting to visit St. Catherine’s in your other videos, and now you have me wanting to go back to Kelowna, once those fires simmer down. Can’t wait for your Ontario/BC comparison video!
I used to take people on cycling tours of Myra canyon and the pine scent is what I will remember along with cycling by 3 cougars only 30 ft. away from us. The hair on your body all standing up while you cycle by cats that were all sitting down like a domestic cat would. The best time of my life !
My cousin moved from Ontario to Kelowna and loves it! Can’t wait to get back to Ontario next summer all being well with covid! Should have been there in June 😢
I collect license plates as well when I'm over in North America. I haven't been able to find many in Canada, but when you go down the states there's a good chance some of the shops down there will have them. I remember seeing quite a few Canadian license plates amongst the American ones. Makes it more fun to find in a way
Look at Jake getting all Canadianized! Lol. Knowing it's moose, not mooses. Good to see you guys experiencing another part of Canada's splendor. There's incredibly beautiful scenery from coast to coast. You got some great shots on the water. Well done! Not sure I ever noticed any accent difference with ppl I know from BC, but there's definitely a bit of California west coast cultural vibe in BC. Guess that's why it's called "Hollywood North". Did you get direct flights (Toronto to Kelowna return)?
@@LouiseWareArmstrong oh my days that’s what my hubby messaged me the other day when he went walking in gold stream..on his own…with no bear spray lol 😂
We used to live in Kelowna, which is on the Okanagan Lake which is about 70 miles long. Those are HILLS around Kelowna, you'll see the mountains when you go to the coast or to the Rockies! Where was the beach you went , you said you were going to West Kelowna, but it almost looked like you were at the City beach? Might be wrong though as Kelowna has grown so much since we lived there (in 1974!) Great video Louise, thanks for doing it !
Looks like you had a great time out on the west coast. Next time you will have to head out to the east coast preferably to Nova Scotia. You would definitely find some great seafood places. Even a lot of the pizza places sell fish and chips. And it's only a 1&1/2 hour flight or 20 hour drive to get down here to Halifax.
Great to see you had so much fun in B.C. You are right it’s a different kind of beautiful than Ontario. However, if you had ever been to Manitoba you would not call Ontario flat by comparison. I can’t for the life of me remember the joke. However when I lived in Manitoba years ago. I do remember the punch line to the joke. It was one of those things that was funny because it was true. The punch line being something to the effect. “The Farmers being watching his dog run away for three days”. But essentially that’s what it’s like if an animal any animal. Started running away from you in a straight line. Because it’s so flat. You would be able to watch it run away for three days. As for license plates. The number 1 place to find old license plates in Ontario (even though they are rare because everyone collects them) are garage / lawn sales. Don’t be afraid to ask for them as the trend is to nail them up in Garages. For display.
As with all parts of Canada, Manitoba has its own spectacular beauty! The lakes, forests and yes, the flat prairie land. You can see for miles when on the prairie. I think the only province I haven’t been to is Quebec (would love to go there though). And I haven’t been to the Territories either unfortunately. It’s all beautiful but I wouldn’t live anywhere but Manitoba.
@@nancyrafnson4780 I lived in Winkler. You are correct of course. That Manitoba is beautiful. I do remember visiting Winnipeg on occasion. Was fascinated by how the streets were constructed. They are built quite on purpose on an angle. So that when snow stars to melt water doesn’t just sit in streets. It flows into gutters than sewer of course. Remember walking into centre of street and feeling like I was walking up a slight grade. Also remember visiting my cousin who lived on military base in Winnipeg. Damn those hornets were fast.
@@tomheinrichs7058 , the wasps and hornets this year are TERRIBLE!! We have a bad drought here right now and I guess their normal food supply is not available. They are all over Winnipeg. The drought has of course also hit Manitoba farmers really badly. The heat has been awful - 36+ degrees some days. Way too hot for this Manitoba woman! Have a great night and also tomorrow!

Yes we got flight straight from Toronto to Kelowna 5 hours on the way there 3 hours and 30 minutes on way back :)
@@LouiseWareArmstrong That's cool. If you could've only gotten direct to Vancouver, then it would've involved another flight to Kelowna. On Westjet?
