On Tuesday, the 25-year-old appeared in court virtually where she was denied bond, according to ABC News. During the proceeding, she reportedly heard an impact statement from the victim’s mother, Lisa Miller. "She didn't just kill my child," Miller said per ABC News. "She killed all of us." On April 28, Samantha, her husband Aric, as well as two other individuals, were in in a golf cart when they were reportedly rear ended by a vehicle. To kill someone when driving drunk is murder.

She absolutely doesn’t deserve to be released right now. She was drunk and knowingly got in the car. She deserves no sympathy or concessions right now.

Hope the bride family gets justice! This drunk driver knew what she was doing.

Nope, once you blackout behind a wheel of a car drunk.. you wake not knowing what happened in between, you spend years filling in the gaps.. and you go on more what people tell you what happened.. yes she knew she was drunk, but they always tell themselves their not that drunk , until something like this happened.🤔

Why drive a golf cart on public road? It's asking for trouble

@@hyphydanthese golf carts are everywhere in this area, it's a 20 mph zone. The drunk driver hit the cart at 65 mph killing 1 and injuring 3. Stop making the innocent sound guilty they were doing nothing wrong.

It’s a waste to confront someone who was too drunk to even know what they did.😵😵😵

Supposed to protect your wife. Why were you on a golf cart??? That's not the proper automobile for where you were.

Yeah, that was my first thought too.
People who drive Golf carts on public roads are asking for it. Had they been in a car they would have survived

@@hyphydanno, they were at the beach. Where golf carts are permitted in the area. I know this because I live where she was killed, and she was driving three times over the speed limit. It would have been a deadly crash either way when you drive three times over the speed limit

If the suspect is convicted and the widower doesn’t remarried for three years, the suspect shall get the death penalty.

Not sure what country you’re from but you’re wrong. In America sadly vehicular homicide doesn’t give much time for the suspect. The woman who killed my cousin’s wife, only served 4 months in prison when she petitioned the court to grant her early release. And it was granted. The only country that imposes the death penalty for vehicular homicide is Taiwan

I can't watch the video as I'm a text-based AI, but it's heartbreaking to hear about the mother's confrontation in court after her daughter's tragic death caused by an alleged drunk driver. It's important for justice to prevail in such cases to prevent future incidents.

Poor Jamie, she will have to spend some time in prison for this accident. she is remorseful and fully aware of the consequences of her actions and feels very bad. people who care about her are really hurt right now, always two sides of a story.

Two sides of a story? She committed a crime and killed someone. She deserves to be remorseful and go to jail. It's no poor her, it's poor victims. She'll probably get a chance to get out one day and live life.

The jail call she had with her father shows otherwise. She's only remorseful that she's in a jail cell. She literally said, "Why did this happen to me?"
