You can root your device and do a lot of other cool stuff using Magisk and Magisk Modules.
There are loads of ways of installing Xposed including using Magisk modules and it can do some pretty incredible stuff with Xposed modules as well.
If you want to install a custom rom, well you can do that as well on a rooted Android device. Do make sure tho that you have a custom recovery like TWRP installed.
However if you do not want to install a custom ROM on your device, then you can do some pretty cool things using root apps like Titanium Backup, Greenify, Kernel Auditor.
And of course there is the root automation app called Tasker which helps you do everything you want on your phone without having to lift a finger!

Hey bro you're using two exposed module for RUclips you can do same stuff with one module of magisk which is ' RUclips vanced module ' check it it is awesome..
Vanced for some reason kept crashing on our build of Android 8.1 Oreo on the OP5T. Having said that, I personally love Vanced

Hey! I ve rooted my phone and I'm using Lineage OS 14.1 and also using some xposed modules like xstana,p ify . Android o ify is also a good module that one could use to get Oreo features in lollipop or marshmallow but there are some bugs.

One of most important thing for me after rooting was viper4android & Google pixel mod drastically improved my camera quality of redmi note 4 with amazing portrait mode edge detection is even better then mi A1 i have compared it side by side.

Flashing a custom rom reduces the camera performance, makes app to crash and creates heating issues. It might though give you great customizations. But keep a thought on the problems mentioned above.

Magisk manager is a must ...Then I use Dolby atmos for better audio and gcam for great HDR+ pics and ios animations and flashing custom Roms for better user interface but all the times I had to revert back to the original rom due to some minor issues

Why would you wanna use Samsung Pass when we have Google Pass which is universal. And you can always hide root for a specific app (Samsung Health) via Magisk Manager as I did. Running Android 9.0 on a rooted S9 plus flawlessly.

Rajan Das thats not true when you root you cannot install any official OTA updates
You have to unroot to get OTA, but if your phone is well known you will get amazing custom roms on xda which are way better than stock. Camera may lose some quality but Google camera with hdr plus will improve that a lot.

I used to do lot of rooting and stuff couple of years ago with some legacy devices like Xperia M and Nexus 5 and mostly i love was the tweaks by Xposed modules so i would like see some videos on Xposed and magisk modules as im currently using the oneplus 5t and thinking to root!
