As someone who had a 3R originally and now a M400 for the last 17 years I’d say that review is absolutely spot on. Nice to see someone do some proper research as well as to the origins.
Thank you, much appreciated - especially from a long-term Noble owner! One thing I've realised since getting the Noble is how many long-term M12/M400 owners there are, which is a testament to how good they are!
@@Rich_Runs_Carsfor the first 14 years it was cosmetic stuff and preventative maintenance. Then when I thought about changing it and couldn’t find anything that remotely compared I upgraded some bits performance wise. Was like a new car after!
Lots of preventative maintenance to do! Lots of people say that - nothing I can find to replace it with! I'm thinking about upgrading the turbos to ball bearing equivalents for a bit more power, but will probably leave it another year - the power delivery as it is is so good.
Hi David. Brilliant car, highly recommend to everyone 🙂 I wonder if a modified M12 might even compete with your 620r for excitement... Maybe not quite!
Fantastic video on a great but rarely discussed car - a friend ran one daily in London !!! Honestly never had an issue apart from speed bumps. It’s refreshing to see car content that just showcases the car , gives you a really good sense of what it’s like from a man who clearly understands exactly what he is talking about.
Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated 🙂 Kudos to your friend for daily-ing in London! The engines are strong, and so long as you do the simple mods to upgrade known weak points, they're generally fairly reliable. Touch wood!
Thanks very much 👍 Such great cars, I definitely won't be selling it for a very long time! Are you in the US? The cars there often seem to run much higher power, is yours highly modified?
I have one of these, Misha drove it at the ring. Funny thing is, i sold my remapped w212 E63s to buy this. I agree, my noble feels just as fast and definitely faster below 120mph, compared to my E63. But my Noble is nearly 500bhp.
That video was awesome, absolutely loved it! Brilliant that you took it out there; the respect and appreciation from Misha was great to see. Yeah the M157 engine in the 212 E63 when mapped is epic, absolutely love it. But obviously a totally different car. I'm a bit down on your power, but expect I'll add some in due course :-)
@Rich_Runs_Cars I agree the M157 is a torque monster, and has go from 1000rpm upwards. I did love it, but agree the experience is totally different. You can feel the weight over the front wheels when turning in on the E63, whilst the Noble just turns with so little inertia. Both cars made me smile, but for very different reasons. The Noble definitely gets you noticed a lot more, especially in Krypton green 😀.
The E63 has incredible handling for the size and weight of car, but I agree, it can't compare to the Noble; totally different league. Ha, yeah, you don't have a subtle colour 😂 but it's not a subtle car, so it suits 👍

Have you modified your M400?

@@Rich_Runs_Cars I’ve just given your review a heads up on the owners FB page.
Can’t find you on Insta ?

No Insta (or any social media really!).
