I absolutely love watching these videos I feel like I'm out there at the tent with you very relaxing to me to watch these videos I'm not sure what it is but it really puts me in a good space thanks man appreciate it keep the videos coming
Another awesome video Joe. I am both envious and very happy and relaxed when watching your stuff. Like someone else said, its like being there with you without having to endure the 4 hour drive! lol :-) Keep making your videos please, you have a ton of people out here who live vicariously through you and the kids!
Joe, vids like this are the type that drew me to and keep me on your channel. Thank you for excepting nothing but quality: whether in great shots, or great food, or a clean house. I really appreciate the way you have captured these and all your other journeys. Wayne
Best videos. I agree with many of the comments on here that it’s so relaxing. I haven’t been up to my cabin in a long time so I now travel with Joe and it actually gives me that piece of mind and relaxation I get from going to mine. The camp fire 🔥 fishing lighting the wood. Burning stove and all his routines of setting up when first getting there to cleaning up when leaving.
I love how you are such a creature of habit. You obviously know what makes you happy at the cabin and I think you have changed me! If I had a cabin tent I would do exactly what you do. I would cook exactly what you cook and the same way! God Bless!
Your channels are like photo albums. I used to be the kid that went with her dad camping and fishing...I wish I could've provided something like this for MY kids. I married a city boy, but my heart will always feel at home in the great outdoors.
You are an amazing man, there is nothing you can't do.. I am shocked and at the same time amazed at all you do... I also notice that when there is a bit of music playing, before it disappears are all my favorites, all the oldies but the goodies...very meaningful songs by those artists... Keep up the good work.. you are adorable and a treasure...
I completely love watching your videos. Transports from straight from the UK to the wilderness. I crave this life style! Thank you so much for sharing the tent with us all.
I have to laugh at myself because I was happy to see it raining while on your drive home, I just hate to leave the quiet of the pines and the lake and see you returning to the city noise. But at least you left when it was going to rain anyway. Funny how seeing your videos helps others relax just a little along with you. Thanks for sharing.
that was great feel like I went camping for a few days! really enjoyed that and just the right length, not too long and not too short. Thanks for sharing that.
Yes! Was just watching a heap of your older videos, the Louisiana 5th wheel and house rebuild, and just watched your talk on the Honda generator and wind/solar power. then this! Cool, gonna settle in and watch.
great video Joe, Love how you can share a Great time! Makes me recall some great times with the family, and makes me want to do those things again. Thanks again and God Bless
Love these videos! Reminds me of my Dad n our family. Thank you so much for sharing. I watch two videos every morning then can’t stop thinking about it all day lol
Your actually limited to what you can listen to if your listening to the radio that far north. Not many stations to choose from. I do like the Saturday polka show though. LOL.
Another great video! Really enjoy all your videos and have even found them informative. Keep it up and can't wait for the next video no matter what it might be!!
I love how you document EVERYTHING you do. Seriously, it shows that you are making the video because you want to - not because you think people care about everything you do. You're probably the most humble youtuber on my list of subscribed. Keep it up!
The only channel I will watch the ads for. Happy to support you Joe. If you started a gofundme page to help out with the new cabin I'd pitch in a few bucks as I am sure a lot of people would.
I did have a 10 second clip but I cut it out of the video. I think I posted a clip of it on the Northern Seclusion Instagram that Saturday morning. Haha.
Your dads place is so cute. Mom has make it homey with all the flowers out and around. Can;t wait for Melissa to come and ya'll doing the same with a cabin build some day.
Joe Jensen, I am addicted to your videos. But that is a good thing. I don't have long on this eareth and I dream of camping, fishing and hunting. Your videos have made a huge differance in my life. I wish I had some of your maple syrup.
I sat here yelling paint it paint it lol , I built a deer blind out in my woods and wrapped it. Like you didn’t want to side it so I got me some paint in gray , black , green, light blue off white . Used a roller and brushes made it like camouflage and if you didn’t know what you were looking for you would miss it!!!! Try some Dr Spoons for those pike in hammered copper, gold , silver or non hammer same colors they nail them here .
My Dad used to make a supper like you did in the frying pan...he'd use whatever was in the house ...steak or pork chops...even thick cut bologna and call it fry pan stew...he'd throw a boullion cube in and a bit of flour and make a gravy and if he was in the mood he would throw can biscuits on top and bake it and call it fry pan pot pie lol watching that brought back memories lol great video!!
Seems like all your retrieves involve burning the lure back to the boat. May want to try some slower retrieves, along with a few more types of lures besides spoons/spinners. Although they're tried and trusted bait for those lakes, I've had great success with cranks and swim baits with pike, smallies, etc. Great vid!
That is first time I have seen you turn on that little a/c unit I have 3 of them running right now its 90ish after midnight here in Hurst TX. thanks Joe
Love the videos and the outdoors grilling. Here is a recipe you'll love. Take a pork tenderloin, not the full loin, and poke a hole through the middle, i use my metal knife sharpening rod. Stuff the hole with some link sausage then wrap the loin with bacon. If you want it spicy then use a spicy sausage. Tenderloin doesn't have much fat but the sausage and bacon add plenty. You can also cook it without the bacon and it is still delicious. Thanks for sharing your expeditions, we here in the city can use the break you provide.
Nice place you have there. We are currently looking for some get away/retirement property (15-25 acres) in the ozarks of Missouri. I tried to talk the wife into Minnesota, but she hates the winter season. I enjoy the season, but as a beekeeper and gardener, I don't think northern Minnesota is our best option. Keep the videos coming.
Minnesota is a great state to garden in but you are correct, if you as far north as the tent it is pretty tough. You are full fledged zone 3 and close to zone 2.
just a thought==you might want to check the USGS for your area there to see IF minor quakes are there and if so are the fish biting-as this will spook them---just an idea.
Joe really enjoyed this episode of "The Tent"!! That paint really did make a difference, but your right, it is kind of plain, you need to find something to hang up there!! LOL I grit my teeth every time I hear you say that the tent will be torn down when you go to build your cabin. I love that place and I have never been there!!! Being a WVian and a hunter there is something special about a camp/bus/tent or whatever and seeing your place always makes me feel like I am at camp (our bus) in the Monongahela National Forest here in WV. I would love just to fly in with a helicopter pick up "The Tent" when you were ready to take it down and fly it to our place!! LOL You have so many memories with just the tent. Call me sentimental!! LOL Again Joe great episode and enjoy it every time you post anything from the tent. Take care buddy!! Juddie - J & J TOA
I just discovered your videos wow love it I'm in the city sure would love to be in a place like that. Gotta find me a country man to do these awesome things 😊😊😊
Painting the housewrap! Brilliant! The painted wrap will resemble the rest of the tent. I must say that the paint makes quite a difference on the back of your tent cabin. Looks good. I was wondering about the windows on the tent part. It seems that the only window is in the front door. Is that enough? The videos don't look too dark inside. I think that your backwoods cabin resembles my 'off grid/on grid' cabin on my ranch out here in the west. I never planned it to be permanent, just a place to stay until a house got built (still waiting on that, so much for the 'plan'). So in the mean time, I have added and adapted it to make it more comfortable. The result is somewhere between roughing it and up-scale camping.
You should re-purpose the tent as a workshop for when you build your cabin. Seems a shame to just tear it down after all that work on it. Great video. As always, thanks for sharing.
Great job well done;
I absolutely love watching these videos I feel like I'm out there at the tent with you very relaxing to me to watch these videos I'm not sure what it is but it really puts me in a good space thanks man appreciate it keep the videos coming
Susie Coreno I agree 😊

You know, for an ole northern boy, you sure have a good taste in music!
I completely love watching your videos. Transports from straight from the UK to the wilderness. I crave this life style! Thank you so much for sharing the tent with us all.

It took ten minutes, but the potato in foil finally made it's debut. Phew! Great videos. Love escaping from life and watching them.
Wow, a lot of pictures. The scenery is soothing, absolutely beautiful.
I have to laugh at myself because I was happy to see it raining while on your drive home, I just hate to leave the quiet of the pines and the lake and see you returning to the city noise. Love your videos. Reminds me of fishing with my dad along time ago up here in Canada.
You have the widest taste in music. I love it... well most of it. :) Thanks for taking me along.
Your actually limited to what you can listen to if your listening to the radio that far north. Not many stations to choose from. I do like the Saturday polka show though. LOL.
Another reason I love this channel Joe.......your attention to detail. Example showing the osprey birds nest from the boat. I'm a true fan 😉
Great video, love the tent videos. Thank you for taking me along.
Great video Joe. The osprey was a nice touch. Not many people get to witness that kind of beauty.

We hope you are doing better.
great flowers beautiful flowers.
Looking at your "plain" wall.. A great base for painting some sky, tree's, grass.... It would blend in nicely with the view in the background
I really like this chanel, thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed very much glad you made it through the rain ok.

my favorite part is when Joe post's a video 😀. then when he opens the tent and everything after that. Upsman retired local 63 California.
Your dads place is so cute. Mom has make it homey with all the flowers out and around. Can;t wait for Melissa to come and ya'll doing the same with a cabin build some day.
