Peter Homberg is a partner at the international law firm Dentons, serving as the head of the Dentons European Cannabis Group. Homberg is also a founding member of the European Cannabis Association. Peter has worked as a lawyer in the field of medical and pharmaceutical law for several decades and has specialized in the field of medical cannabis law since 2017. As an expert, Peter Homberg appears as a keynote speaker at international conferences, meetings, and seminars, and regularly contributes articles and participates in interviews with international and national media. He has participated in the legalization process of adult-use cannabis in Germany since the beginning via extensive legal opinions and media contributions. Peter Homberg is a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES), the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht (GRUR), the Deutschen Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (DIS), the Pharma-Lizenz-Club Deutschland e.V., and the Branchenverband Cannabiswirtschaft e.V. (BvCW).
