I saw you in the others' videos, and on Bernadette's channel you said you had different percentages of historical dress at different times. I would love to see a video, when you are home, about the range of your clothing choices. If you could show us the low end of your historical dress (what you said you wear to the office) and up to the higher end in everyday clothes. I think that would be so neat, to see you transform from relatively modern to relatively historical. With however many stops along the way. If you feel comfortable sharing that with us, I think a lot of us would like it.

I love that Bernadette uses hair powder. I love dry shampoo, but it's expensive. My hair powder consists of Cocoa powder, corn starch and a few capsules of activated charcoal. I like the powder to match my hair somewhat. Very inexpensive to make and to use. As Bernadette did you just lift your hair and apply with a medium brush to the under layer to soak up oiliness. Next day it looks like my hair doesn't desperately need a wash.

@@marymcandrew7667 hair powder and dry shampoo don't clean the hair. They just soak up hair oils so that your hair looks and feels clean for longer. It also adds texture which can help with certain hair styles.

    • @johannageisel5390

@@marymcandrew7667 Dry shampoo mostly consists of finely ground starch. Same as the traditional hair powders, which were often made from flour.
The starch does soak up the oil and you can then brush both of it out if you want. That will remove part of the oil together with the starch.
How well that actually works is very individual, though.
