David Yorx : I love SY. Always have. Always will. For years I tried to form a noise band in this genre. I wanted to call it Sonic Betty, and combine my love of Sonic Youth with my love of Betty Page. But I couldn't find any musicians interested in the project.
This is the band that I’ve seen play live the most number of times. I saw them in different decades, on different continents, with different lineups, and even side projects. Clubs, concert halls, theatres, festivals... ...I still miss them.
On my 17th birthday my much older and cooler sister dressed me up and took me to see Sinic Youth at the smallest venue. She got me proper drunk and we met the band later. It was one of the best nights of my life. ❤
This fucking slays me. My god. It brings me back to all the times I saw them live, and just lost myself, just LOST in the music. Peak experience after peak experience. Transcendental. Hard to even come back from. So beautiful, thank you.

Jeder Bildregisseur denkt ,dass er ein Künstler ist, aber leider er ist nur eine kleine Nervensäge der die Videos versaut. Diese Kamera Fuzzis, Bildregie, warum muss eine Kamera immer hin und her gefahren werden, eine Umschaltung nach der anderen oder ein Nasenloch und dann die Gitarre von hinten. Vollkommen hirn- und sinnlos dieses blitzschnelle hin und her schwenken. Das es einen Zoom rein raus Hebel gibt, weiß inzwischen auch jeder Depp. Guck der Mensch so? Arbeiten die im Akkord oder auf Provision? MTV hat den Mist auf die Spitze getrieben und jetzt machen es alle nach: Saublöd
