      Thanks for your message! Downpayment is somewhere around 30% - 50% for foreign investors. Maximum mortgage is 70%. Saludos 👋

    Great video. Thank you. I have a question.
    I am a Panamanian national citizen that also has US citizenship. After many years, I am planning to relocate back to Panama. I have a remote salary from US and started a small business in the US. What are my options to buy something in Panama? What would my down payment be? Are there any US banks that will give me a loan if I put down 10-15% as a down payment?

    • @PrimeSolutionsTaxLegal
      @PrimeSolutionsTaxLegal  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you can! As long as you show a fixed income or your tax return. Banks will also as for your bank statements. The downpayment will depend on the bank and seller usually starts on 20% but it varies. Since you are Panamanian maybe you can pay less on downpayment. Saludos 🖖

      Yes! Most banks will ask 30% to 50% downpayment and you can start remotely and then come back to finish the process. Saludos 🖖

      Hey Yailyn, you might contact Banco General, Banistmo, Scotiabank, Banco Aliado, etc. I believe most of them are in Chiriquí but even if some of them are not you can still apply through Panama City mortgages department@@yailynhaworth3395

    Any info on the new “Casco View” building in Santa Ana? It’s probably the first one, but do you see others popping up soon in that area? Will locals be paid to relocate so the area of Santa Ana and El Chorillo be redone?

      Hello I know about the development in Santana, and I believe there will be more and more developments in the area. In Casco Viejo if locals leave they get paid.

      I'm in the process of buying a house in Panama. Bank of America doesn't use intermediary banks and Banco General won't allow me to do a direct. Any advice on other options?

    Someone told me that it was hard for foreigners to get a mortgage if they don't have Panama residency. Is this true?
