Some new information has been revealed by @PFM on eFour. There is very convincing evidence that the playtest cards are, in fact, fake. I'll update this comment when more is known.
When I was younger thought that the Pocket Monsters trade please card backs were fake cards. Also, I thought that current most long running card back was always the legit Pokémon cards. Lastly, wow & I learned more that I didn't know before.

great video! by way of update a new efour post has shown that the printer metadata for the playtests shows the cards were 2024. while i’m not sure if this confirms that all cards of that kind are now fake, i would be interested to hear your sources of information for including these cards in the video and whether you think the video needs updating in light of this new information. i was personally never comfortable with the provenance of these cards.
I read through the post. I guess we will have to wait and see but I suspect that there is a real set of prototypes that was just reproduced a lot. I hope so anyways.
Dude I hate the japanese back lol I don't collect any modern japanese cards soley for that reason, all my japanese cards are vintage. Maybe I'm in the minority but I really though the old one was a lot better

I'm never surprised by how much I learn from your videos. Great work once again!
Thanks you for being one of the few cool ppl making Pokemon tcg content
Now I can’t unsee the improper pokeball opening on the card back 😫.

Glad you like them! Thank you
easily the type of video to have 100k plus views
The TCG card back pokeball opening the wrong way makes me unreasonably upset.
Was I the only one to just realize this by watching this video? I never realized until now and now I’m mad.
I love your channel so much!!! Keep making more videos
Thank you!

So good
What software do you use to make your videos? Great video btw!
People are surprised that I’m actually using the free version of CapCut. Looking to upgrade to something more professional soon though
@@sleevenocardbehindthis is an incredible ad for capcut wtf
I have the my first battle backs in Portuguese
its debatable but i would include the funskool back cards released in india
also WOW I thought Ancient Mew it was the only one with a holo back, makes me wonder if theres more out there...
Surprised no one ever mentions the back of english cards changed the color was more vibrant back in the day
I just saw that the my first battle cards have no weakness resistance or retreat cost

thanks for sharing the video. do you need a graphic artist to work on your YT banner? for a cheap price...
never undrrstood why the didn't made the japan version global
The prototype cards were supposed to resemble the game boy console? The more you know...
The last time I was first Pokemon was called Pocket Monsters.

Agreed
That’s why I get them cuz I like the back because it looks better than the American one
Yes! Is better the back of the vintage cards
I like the new one better
it’s just a back who cares, it’s most likely gonna be covered with a sleeve anyways
The alpha section is pretty funny in hindsight considering they were faked T.T
Some are real! lol I’m grasping at straws
THE POKEBALL IN THE CARD BACK IS WRONG. My childhood is forever ruined now.
