Jason is a full time father to Danny and Emily Scout he lives with them and has a relationship with their mom. Cecil Pierre A couple of connections.. Lucky was in the picture when Jake ‘’died’’. I remember him standing there when Jason came out and told them Jake was gone. He touched Jason’s chest as he went by him. And Lucky was the one who convinced Elizabeth to allow Jake’s kidney to go to Joss. I am not sure Jason still considers Liz family in any way other than being Jake’s mother. He hasn’t said much about it since he came home. And Liz has not treated Jason like she considers him family. It’s just a matter of semantics anyway. It depends on how you define family. I think Liz would fall under an extended family category. As would anyone you considered family but really wasn’t. Like Alexis and Olivia with Sonny. However, I have never heard him call Ava family, even though he shares a child with her as well. Technically, Franco is more family than Liz because he and Jason are third cousins, but Jason does not consider him family. He considers Carly and Sonny family even though they are in no way related. There are biological families and there are adopted families. And there are extended families. It just depends on what is important to you. Jason is scout’s uncle but because her father is not just his brother, but his identical twin brother, their DNA connection is closer than the average uncle/niece connection. Scout and Danny are technically half brother and sister, but because they share a mother and their fathers are identical twins, their DNA connection is the same as full siblings. DNA really is a fascinating study.
@Cecil Pierre Lucky was in the picture when Jake died because he thought his father killed him. Lucky felt guilty that it was Luke who ran over Jake and it turned out to be Helena who set it all up. All of the Spencer's played a big part in Jake's life. And maybe Monica loves her grandson but she don't like his mother Liz. You need to rewatch some episodes. Because you are clearly confused on what went down with Jake's upbringing. Liz never really let Jason be Jake's father until Drew came back as Jason. And when Jason really came back she let Jason have a relationship with his son. Sam never kept Danny from Jason even when her mom wanted her to she fought her off. Danny was the child that Jason left behind because he was his father even when they fought about Franco. Now Emily Scout is in his care they are like father and daughter too. Drew stepped up for Jason when he thought he was Jason. And now Jason is doing the same. You can say what you want and so can I.

Great surprise....if someone from GH is reading this, and I hope you are...for all the show is worth return the Quartermaine mansion back to the way it was prior to the Kardashian redo. I get why you guys tried something new, I really do. BUT, in a show based on legacy and limited legacy characters the mansion floods people with delightful memories. Its so old its new again. Its like going to grandma's house. Even if in future times characters sadly pass on Ned and Olivia or Michael and future gal can redecorate keeping the same shape. Its also a flashback time capsule that needs to stay. Quite frankly we all wish there were more Q story lines and the home really needs to go back to its original glory. Would someone redo Buckingham Palace in white and gray and change the shape and devoid it of all personality? It really was that bad. Again I applaud the concept...but since you guys are always reviving the 'dead'....lets revive the mansion and make it Tracy's bad dream from jet lag. Cecil Pierre A couple of connections.. Lucky was in the picture when Jake ‘’died’’. I remember him standing there when Jason came out and told them Jake was gone. He touched Jason’s chest as he went by him. And Lucky was the one who convinced Elizabeth to allow Jake’s kidney to go to Joss.
I am not sure Jason still considers Liz family in any way other than being Jake’s mother. He hasn’t said much about it since he came home. And Liz has not treated Jason like she considers him family.
It’s just a matter of semantics anyway. It depends on how you define family. I think Liz would fall under an extended family category. As would anyone you considered family but really wasn’t. Like Alexis and Olivia with Sonny. However, I have never heard him call Ava family, even though he shares a child with her as well.
Technically, Franco is more family than Liz because he and Jason are third cousins, but Jason does not consider him family.
He considers Carly and Sonny family even though they are in no way related.
There are biological families and there are adopted families. And there are extended families. It just depends on what is important to you.
Jason is scout’s uncle but because her father is not just his brother, but his identical twin brother, their DNA connection is closer than the average uncle/niece connection.
Scout and Danny are technically half brother and sister, but because they share a mother and their fathers are identical twins, their DNA connection is the same as full siblings. DNA really is a fascinating study.
@Cecil Pierre Lucky was in the picture when Jake died because he thought his father killed him. Lucky felt guilty that it was Luke who ran over Jake and it turned out to be Helena who set it all up. All of the Spencer's played a big part in Jake's life. And maybe Monica loves her grandson but she don't like his mother Liz. You need to rewatch some episodes. Because you are clearly confused on what went down with Jake's upbringing. Liz never really let Jason be Jake's father until Drew came back as Jason. And when Jason really came back she let Jason have a relationship with his son. Sam never kept Danny from Jason even when her mom wanted her to she fought her off. Danny was the child that Jason left behind because he was his father even when they fought about Franco. Now Emily Scout is in his care they are like father and daughter too. Drew stepped up for Jason when he thought he was Jason. And now Jason is doing the same. You can say what you want and so can I.

Great surprise....if someone from GH is reading this, and I hope you are...for all the show is worth return the Quartermaine mansion back to the way it was prior to the Kardashian redo. I get why you guys tried something new, I really do. BUT, in a show based on legacy and limited legacy characters the mansion floods people with delightful memories. Its so old its new again. Its like going to grandma's house. Even if in future times characters sadly pass on Ned and Olivia or Michael and future gal can redecorate keeping the same shape. Its also a flashback time capsule that needs to stay. Quite frankly we all wish there were more Q story lines and the home really needs to go back to its original glory. Would someone redo Buckingham Palace in white and gray and change the shape and devoid it of all personality? It really was that bad. Again I applaud the concept...but since you guys are always reviving the 'dead'....lets revive the mansion and make it Tracy's bad dream from jet lag. Seriously, this one 'small' point could be the 'jumping the shark' of a daytime legacy show.
