Thanks for your kind words. I have so enjoyed the process of this song, it's taken me on a journey, back to the deep connection I have with Africa.

Thanks Susie for your kind words.
Meeting George Walley through Walyalup Kannajil and George inspiring me to look to my childhood memories for inspiration enabled me to create a song I am very proud of.

i lived in livingstone 1966 - 68, was 8 - 9 years old... my mother took my brother and me out of school.(system just collapsed), so we used to spend every day in the bush, on the zambezi or down the gorges of Vic Falls.... we would hitch hike all over.. safe in those days... and there very few parts of the gorges right below the falls that we did not explore... my engagement and honeymoon was spent there (rhodesian side).... the Victoria Falls has a special place in my life... the song expresses much of it

Hi Howard, It's so great that you enjoyed Falls of Thunder. I lived in Luanshya between 1964 and 1970, and then in Wankie 1976 - 1977. When you have lived in Africa it touches your soul, the people, the places, the wildlife, and the feeling never leaves you, thank you for you wonderful comment :)

    Beautiful song.
Mosi-oa -tunya is Lozi (Kololo) not Sotho. Sothos have never lived anywhere near the Zambezi.
