We have been there the week (16th till 20 March) before SA's lockdown. We were in awe of the enormity of the falls. We could see the level rising every day but missed the big finale. Whao!!!!!

Tom Varley what year was this video taken. I want to go to the VF's in Sept 2016, but there was a massive drought and the falls were pretty much dried up.
In 2019/20 Saw some heavy rains fall in the region. At the peak of the season, it is reported that 4,3 million litres of water was falling over the Victoria falls every second. So it's pretty much not dried up!

Born and raised in Australia, travelled to Africa, fall in love with Zimbabwe, the people and i was amazed by Victoria falls. Africa Zimbabwe is my spiritual home, this amazing video brings tears to my eyes, be travelling back once day soon.

@@goodwillndlovu2436lucky you. I've visited 3 times. One extremely dry. Another in record floods. So I saw the majesty at both ectremes. Also thankful I got to sit in the devil's pool all by myself for hours before it became a tourist attraction.
Would still go again and again.

This has to be one of my favourite places to visit on the Planet. The sounds of Africa, the magnificent beauty and magic of the mighty Falls. It gave me shivers. I have visited Vic Falls twice and each time never cease to inspire and awe me. The magnificent Zambezi at sunset above the falls with elephants and hippos swimming - a veritable sight to behold.
