    I love the way egos point. I started with a poppit from Bob long and switched to spools. I decided to go back to the poppit. I like how thin the body is. I sold the geo4 for the lv1.6 the. I enjoy adjusting which can't be done on most spools now days. I'm happy with how smooth the 1.6 turned out.

    I agree with alot of what you said, I owned a JT Impulse for a couple years , but it had an issue and a Empire tech told me , they had very little parts leftover for repairs, so I sold it. I miss owning a poppet and wanted to own LV but used prices where still to high to buy a used lv1.5, and decided to buy a lv1.6 new instead, since that included warranty and new serviceable solenoid. Will I shoot this all the time over my cs2 pro , probably not , but I like having variety in my bag.

    Best review on the 1.6, glad for ur negative comments abd positive comments....i bought the 1. 6, at pipe doesnt bother me ...im a really big guy and marker seems almost fragile and small to me.
    I like the simplicity and ease of maint. And it does shoot fairly smooth....

    19:43 Finally! I too feel that the earlier PE grip frames from the geo 3.1 to the LV1 are too big for my hands. Feels like trying to palm a pack of playing cards. But everyone that I've talked to thinks it's the bees knees. Imma stick with my CS1 with CS2 grips, feels way better for me.

    I keep my thumb on the outside and brace my palm against the AT pipe. Gives me the same stability as grabbing the gun all the way up without blocking my vision. I love the ergos and shot so much so that the LV is “the one” for me.

    Milling is different from the 1.5 as well which makes the bolt a little different since the cut is vertical vrs angled at the back. I love the lv series. I have owned an Lv and 1.5. Hoping to pick up the 1.6 or the newest 1.6 that just came out the Teahupoo. Great review.

    The paint handling is where the LVs shine in my opinion. Those JT Impulses were nice markers too (especially for the closeout prices. Shame they didn't continue making them.

    • @jamesleason4004
      @jamesleason4004 2 года назад

      but a g6r is a temperamental best and requires far and above more acquired knowledge and maintenance than a LV. Plus you gotta have a pressure guage, SLP reg, special lube, and now Field One refuses to even look at them so you're totally on your own unless you gamble with Dirty Works for parts and service. Who knows with the G6R!

    I 100% get what you mean about the LV “bulk.” When I compare the feel of the LV1.6 I just got to my J4 Torques the Torque just feels faster, and quicker to get in a comfortable place when swapping hands. Even with the bulky frame of the Torque.

    • @ahmari4u
      @ahmari4u 3 года назад +1

      Especially if you reach back to the ever so popular and beloved Ego 11, my favorite Ego design. If the body was reinforced, I would still shoot an Ego 11 to this day.

    • @72twist
      @72twist 3 года назад +1

      I love the large frame on my Torque! I met Josh at Fulda Gap and picked up my Torque there from him. The first thing I mentioned was how much I appreciated a large frame. A lot of guns have these giant trigger guards with barely any room to put my hands and they can feel uncomfortable. My MacDev Drone DX and Luxe Ace are prime examples.

    To poke at the ergonomics I felt the same way you did for a very long time until I had a epiphany one day the rubber on the FL barrel back is there for a reason on this gun your thumb should rest on top of the barrel af your index finger on the notch under the barrel... I was so unhappy with my LV 1.6 untill I started holding it correctly my game improved 1.6 fold once I held it right (for me) and I'm glad I figured it out because I was on the verge of trading it for a luxe but not anymore

    • @airtimepaintball463
      @airtimepaintball463  3 года назад

      You aren't holding it "correctly." You've adapted the way you hold a marker so that the ergos are mitigated. I'm not interested in being forced to hold the thing in a way that I don't prefer in an effort to make the ergos not bad for me.
      But, like I said in the vid, this is an objective thing. Many people like the ergos just fine for sure.

      DP is gone and done. You cannot get parts for them! This is why so many stores still have tons of brand new Fusion Elites gathering dust. Sure you can buy one and shoot one. But if it breaks down and needs a noid you are SOL.

      @jamesleason4004 2 года назад +1

      @@williampaddock4863 they have been considered by many to shoot as good as an ego 11 so yeah. But they had some serious QC issues so you might get a lemon. Their OLED displays are known to fail quickly, and some of them had some out of spec tolerances too. Otherwise they're supposed to be very tunable and smooth shooting. Better than a JT impulse and gas through too. Very compact and light as well. Their G5 SPEC R even got rave reviews from madman even though it's a gas hog and looks like a Covenant weapon lol.
