What a Joy to listen to that rousing music & watch the dancers.
Love it, exciting well done for showing it Mike, Noel & Tony 2 fantastic players.
The guy dancing (Tommy Browne) is the grandad of a previous video "The Browne Family"....As they say in Clare ..."You can't bate breeden"...☺
Wonderful!I greatly enjoyed seeing this.Thank you very much!
R.I.P. Tony Mac Mahon..
A reminder of the great fun that came from sharing our culture in homes😭Look at what we have lost😭Our social life is so crappy and stilted🤮🇨🇮Time for fun and simplicity👊
Those were the days.....!
Very entertaining indeed. The accordion and concertina players were no slouches either.
Don't know if you noticed but a neighbour from home who is dancing one moment is sitting down the next moment...R.I.P. Marty...
Are you sure this is from 1990? Looks more like the 70's. Looks like people were in their Sunday best. Great to see it either way. GRMMA
Brilliant 👏👏 both Music & Dance.Where in Clare and When, please?
I'm guessing but I think this was recorded in the 80's and the recording I think was recorded in Cooraclare or Mullagh direction.
Hon the Banner!!!!!
Wonderful playing! Does anyone know the name of the first tune? I know the second the new moon meadow. Thanks in advance!
In Clare a particular "Set" is called the "Caledonian". I would love to find out why this name was used. Anybody can tell me?
