    ►”Dance Of The Clairvoyants” Lyrics:
    Confusion is,...to commotion
    What love is,…to our devotion
Imperceptibly big, big as the ocean
    And equally hard to control
    So save your predictions
    And burn your assumptions
    Love is friction
    Ripe for comfort
    Endless equations
    And tugging persuasions
    Doors open up
    To interpretation
Expecting perfection leaves a lot to ignore
When the past is the present and the future’s no more
When every tomorrow is the same as before
The looser things get,...the tighter you become
    The looser things get,...tighter
There’s not one man, who’s greater than the sum
    That’s not a negative thought, I’m positive
    Falling down,...not staying down
Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down
    Drown in the river
Expecting perfection leaves a lot to endure
When the past is the present and the future’s no more
When every tomorrow is the same as before
Numbers keep falling off the calendars floor
Stuck in our boxes, windows open no more
    Collecting up the forget-me-nots
    Not recalling what they’re for
    I’m in love with clairvoyants
Cause they’re out of this world
I know the girls wanna dance…
    Away their circumstance
I know the boys wanna grow,..
Their dix and fix and fire things
I know the girls wanna dance…
    Clairvoyants in a trance
I know the boys wanna grow,...
Their dix and fix and fire things
Stand back when the spirit comes
Stand back when the spirit comes
Stand back when the spirit comes
    Stand back!
Took my love...to have and to hold
Held me down in the river
Took my love...to have and to hold
    Drowning in the river
Stand back when the spirit comes
Stand back when the spirit comes
Stand back when the spirit comes
    Stand back!

The more I listen, the more I see and appreciate the depth. The production of this song is outstanding. From the audible growls to the sharpness of the guitar (with a blues-like filler between chords) to the cleanliness of the drum sample, which is exactly what the song called for, to the bass line that drives so many pieces of the song. And these are some of the best lyrics from a PJ song that I can remember. This is the opposite of cheap pop music that so often clogs the airwaves today, but with a sound that echoes the influences that helped shape and create each member of the band.

Eddie Vedder is a music historian who grew up singing Jackson 5 records... He’s an audiophile. There’s literally not enough life in his body for them to explore all his musical potential. From an 80’s kid, this is authentic new wave , early MTV sound. Amazing song

Nature is Ruthless. Mother Nature doesn’t need us. We need Nature. But since we abused her Payback is going to be Painful.
Putting all that Plastic into the Oceans choking the Sea-life at the bottom killing the Ocean life. Plastic pieces don’t decay for a hundred years.

I'm sorry but the lyrics go: "Doors open up to interpretation". I wouldn't narrow it down to climate change, especially with it being such a controversial media topic which is polarising. What's more, despite a few lines which can relate to flooding and the human race not having control over the greater "sun" / nature, I don't think that's the message the rest of the lyrics want to hint at.
I personally think the song is much deeper, talking about something we often don't realise. We're often stuck in our routine bubbles without being able to progress further. Despite having plans, ideas, concepts, ambitions we often get stuck in a spot (can even hatch that onto addictions) and like clairvoyants we surf through an imagined world that is often far away from our reality. We, boys, girls, people dance away and get caught in "dicks" (sexual pleasures), "fix things" (work/ job related activites), "file things" (business, money) and we "fall away our circumstance" (run away from our current life condition which can be often hard).
"The looser things get, the tighter you become" - that may refer to how we need some sort of rules, discipline because the fake freedom can lead to many negative things. Maybe it's about ourselves and how not having any borders can put us in chains we wanted to avoid.
"Not one man can be greater than the sun" - sun being a metaphorical icon of a star, light, something pure, clean, perfect. Thie line and the one following it maybe shows how the perfection we often aim towards is not necessarily bad, but positive. As without the dark times we would maybe not appreciate the good ones.
The last lines potentially show how we as people realise ("stand back" and see the big picture) how stupid our actions were (or the lack of them) just before death.
Maybe the song is about love to another person.
Maybe the song is about being stuck in a mundane every-day loop.
Maybe it's about denying reality and living in a made up world in your head.
Maybe it's about giving into easy solutions for quick but short term results.
What if the song is about the typical modern day human, whether that be you, or me?
That's my thoughts on it, hope you enjoyed.
If anything is not understandable I'm truly sorry, I tried to make these sentences make sense but as a non native speaker it gives me quite the struggle.
