Amazing progression! The last part hit home for me. I'm 28 now and got my masters degree two years ago, but I still enjoy learning new skills a lot too, especially physical ones. Picking up skateboarding a couple months ago has brought me a lot of joy, and there are still many things more to try out for the first time in this life!

Mostly I go to skate on my own, but I do take a private surf skate lesson like 1/month, because somebody who knows how to teach surf skating can just tell you things like "and now look the other way" and suddenly by looking the other way you nail a trick that you had been struggling with for weeks 😅 and yes, youtube has been a great help as well 😅
You are definitely not a beginner anymore! You have conquered everything: Pump track, bowl, drop in's and cones, and you're right, there's a lot of learning and courage involved, so thanks for sharing and this is a great video for anybody just taking the sport up. Well done!
