You're awesome Yadahh! Thanks to your detailed instructions I should be able to pull it off! ;) I will keep you posted to let you know about my progress then.
@Yadahh In the video you mentioned; "Now, let's add the character" When I downloaded the game it came along having some character folders, but I don't know how to precisely "add" a character. Where in the Hatsune Miku Mugen folder should I add characters and newly made portraits? Gosh, I (this guy) really doesn't have a clue. I hope you're willing to help me a little more? Thnx really!
Hmmm... If you have a MUGEN character you have downloaded, have you put the character folder at the 'chars' folder & swapped one 'randomselect' word into the character's folder name at the file 'Select.def'?
@@Snow_Ninji I'm a little stuck on that last part. So, I have the character folder, add that to the chars* folder right? And next is to swap a random word in that character folder and put: select.def in it? Like this?
@@Snow_Ninji Yaay! Ok that worked! You're such a great help really! I was so stuck on all of it, couldn't get it done or anything ... Now I do have one more question before I will try things out with the portraits. When starting up the game it's displayed in a rather small screen. Is there a way to full screen the game? 😉
@@Zackary86 Nope! Select.def is in the folder called 'data'. Open that folder, and open Select.def as notepad. And you'll see a tons of the word 'randomselect'. Swap one 'randomselect' word into the character's folder name. And then, save it and close the notepad.
@@Zackary86 Sadly, there can be no way to make it as the full screen since they're MUGEN 1.0... maybe you need to zoom the screen in if you're running in Windows (Windows key + '+' key) as an alternative.
