I contacted them and asked if they doant want to work out a deal that would benefit us bouth and they gladly akcepted my offer so I chose to buy the AXIOM AR8 CNC from them.
A CNC is a great machine for making patterns for metal casting which means I can make better quality castings and what I think is more important I can make castings more often. - Развлечения
Well done MP Dragon, I am looking forward to seeing more of your videos and seeing that CNC router in action.
Great addition. I can't wait to see one of your large projects.
Top-notch content gets even better! Love your work man!
Wow, thats cool. At my highh school we had an CNC, that could make roof constructions, and it was like miracle... :)
Cool! Because that's means you will be making more of your art for us to enjoy.

Very good, this means better detailed work.

Great videos keep up the good work 👍
Just a friendly tip, because I like your channel a lot. Try and loosen up in front of the camera. You seem a bit tense.

As a guy who works in a pattern shop I would like to give you a heads up. If you decide to have patterns affixed to plates for high volume work you should be sure to make any gating, risers, etc easily removable and out of durable yet easily workable materials such as wood or plastic. This way if you decide to go back and make revisions for optimization it will be much easier than going back and cutting a pocket and machining an insert.
Your trade is going through quite a considerable change with CNC machines and 3D printers.
The CNC change happened quite a while back. My company has been using CNC since the 90's. The 3D printers, though, are pretty recent. We've been running one for about a year now and have been experimenting with it for making gating and risers. The problem so far is print quality. In the past a guy would cut out wood on the bandsaw and use sanders/air grinders to shape it to the requirement. The printer gets the shape, but the same guy still has to sit down and spend about the same amount of time sanding the plastic to the right finish as he would sanding down the wood after making his first rough cuts.
what do you use for cad/cam
very nice
