I am getting the impression that a lot of experienced players are struggling to find rank due to the way the pricing is and how that means we can't have all the obvious picks. Lots of swings and a higher level of luck required. Loads of games to go so keep at it. Lots of people are in our situation :)
On the close Semenyo or Rogers out for Salah decision, Semenyo is on 4 yellows (rogers has 2). I noticed this because I'm looking at this exact same double transfer.

I feel your pain Andy. You've got this. Last season I was ranked 4m+ I think as late as Christmas time (certainly it was a lot later than this). Don't blame you a bit for hanging onto him because he's just that good. Everybody has that one player that seems to stall out with them. For me it is Eze. I hang onto him in the belief that if I suffered through the bad weeks with him, I don't want to miss when he makes up for it. Not sure if I were you I'd give up on Haaland. Never thought I'd say this, but isn't he becoming a bit of a differential play?

I think the thing with Trent is yes it's good points for his price tag but when you've got VVD and Konate putting up the same points for less money it just sounds like Trent is expensive but I guess people do have a short memory when it comes to FPL🤷
Trent always gets picked because of his high expected goal involvement even though he's only had the one assist so far this season. Nobody really expects Virgil to score (let alone against Arsenal!) so playing him means you're more dependant on Liverpool getting clean sheets but will have an extra £0.9 to spend elsewhere
@MandrakeHorse I think the way Slot sets up while Trent is obviously the same player it does limit his chances to get involved in the attacks and I wouldn't say that about Virgil he still does have that goal threat much like Gabriel on corners and I would trust Liverpool alot more this season in regards to clean sheets look very sound defensively

So you are basically looking at statistics and his history in the league and believe Trent will start delivering closer to his xGI (as he's always done for Liverppol), when/if that happens he's obvious worth it as he gets the same amount of CS as the rest of the Liverpool defence.

I am not owning Haaland since start of the season. My plan was to distribute Haaland funds on other premium midfielders like Saka, Palmar and defenders like Trent and Gvardiol. Currently my rank is 518k

Double Arsenal defence has been useless. Raya and Gabriel got me 8 points from games against Bournemouth, Southampton, Leicester. Sold Raya last week thankfully.

I personally think that content creators are too template. I mean not to brag but I've had Michael Keane in my team the whole time who was not template and then he bangs in 14 points. Not saying I'm better but I have the chance for differentials because I'm not too template.
@LetsTalkFPL it wasn't a criticism and by the way I love your content. But it would be fair to say your team is pretty template. And therefore when there's a random slump of the classic key players, you will struggle. In the end you'll beat all of us over the long term

Depends on your squad depth tbh. Any injuries you’ll be at risk, but I’ve done something similar with 4 defenders I could play instead of 3 (TAA, Gabriel, Lewis and Mykolenko)

TAA is not needed from gw 10-14, I don’t understand why the overhyped xA "attacking threat" is warranting 7.0m for a defender when Konate is 5.3m instead. Happy with Mykolenko and Ait-Nouri this gw. Hopefully Braithwaite is fit because Dalot in for Mykolenko is on my radar in gw11.
It's great to go for Konate over Trent if you're on Wildcard but we don't have a Wildcard every week. In this case I don't think transferring out Trent makes much sense.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve switched between Haaland and Salah and one seems to go into a crazy form when I sell them.
I think it's quite an easy decision with Son, just play him in the next 2 fixtures, then transfer him out for Saka with 1 FT.

Gabriel to Ait Nouri & Son to Palmer. Keep Haaland as you can still do him or Salanke to Cuhna/Wood/Raul & upgrade a mid like Bruno to Saka or Salah.
