Surprised that you skipped Petrified Forest National Park just a few miles from Holbrook. Route 66 used to go through part of the park.

Earl's Motor Court in Winslow is a nice historic motel to stay in.
I'm travelling from Australia to do a route 66 drive in March. I've been watching plenty of youtube videos to check out the best stops. Josh and his pop at Through my lens is one of my favourite but you two are a lot of fun as well.
As in Josh has a great overview but others, like your channel, fill in some great ideas for lesser known stops.
I mostly just want to see the Blue Whale of Catoosa but there are plenty of other great places.

Are you going to stop at the Roadkill Cafe in Seligman, AZ? I hear it’s pretty good and the town is quirky and fun.
I owned land and a cabin in Seligman Arizona in the early 2000s. Wish I would have kept it. But I plan on doing it again in the future!

The flag is upside down not for a political statement, but because the country is in serious distress. Tons of flags like that here where I live. The Bible tells us that many will fall under a strong delusion. Pray that the Lord gives you “eyes to see and ears to hear” because unfortunately not everyone will be able to see or understand the truth that’s right in front of them..🙏 Stay safe

A flag flown upside down is supposed to indicate severe distress. The flag code states that this should only be done when there is dire distress that endangers life or property, but a lot of people these days are using it as a political statement as the country is in distress. I hope no one takes this as me being political here. I definitely have no interest in doing that. I just wanted to answer your question. Have a great day!
