Stories like these are so important. Positive changes can be made and not only that, thriving ecosystems are possible with our help. I can't wait for the hour special! 😊
they wouldn't be suffering in the first place without human intervention, when Bear Grylls finds a bottle on a desert island, who do you think left it there?
@@adamrushford Good point! At least we have the power to start reversing some of the damage we've caused, even if it's only small changes at the moment.
Power of Nature that can recovery even from brutal events. We can only get humble in front of mother Nature but we must comprehend that even little things we do everyday may cause Great problems. We can choose and don't buy. Even little things in everyday life may change our world and make It better. In this video I see Emotion and Passion in the eyes of these men. Thank You for your efforts and commitment
Can't wait for the full film in 2023! Thank you to all the scientists and oceanographers for letting us know about the positive changes in our ecosystem!
Thank you for raising awareness to how sensitive reefs are to warming events and that we need to protect what little reefs we have by not over harvesting fish. This video truly shows the human impact on sea life.
This made me so happy. I hope you can make a video too on how this is affecting the lives of local fishermen. At the core of protecting our seas, is to not drive the local people around it into the brink of desperation. Making their lives better without pushing them to have to overfish, is what would drive them to help protect the seas around them as well
Thanks for unveiling the marvels of a hidden world, trying to save it from the ravaging works of men and making the beauty of this to be cherished planet last longer.. Our children need it!
Absolutely brilliant to see some good news. So sorry I missed this upon launch as Nat Geo channel is listed as live (actually just looping old drug smuggling videos for weeks) so new videos do not seem to be announced by RUclips to subscribers.
Covid 19 gives us a glimpse on what's possible when human activities are minimized. Let's think twice about returning to pre-pandemic. Some activities should be completely ceased.
I don't see the great barrier reef on that map of protected areas, pretty disappointed with how Australia takes care of her natural wonders. Having lived here in SEQ for a few years now it's pretty sad to see the destruction. Hopefully things will improve with the new government in place.
That's wonderful but that's only one place and as you said it's the one most protected Coral reef in the world the problem is everywhere else is still suffering and even there there's the problem with my microplastic and the changing temperatures increasing temperatures and the sea level it's only a matter of time if we don't slow it down by stopping using fossil fuels we're just going to have less of this time and more brutal time because we all know what comes after the planet heating up then it gets frigid and it ices over so which one do you want I prefer what we have now and to save it as long as we can by stopping the abuse
As much as I enjoyed the video and the beauty of this environment, I really wish that it was just left alone if not pointed out to the internet. Now this place is going to be overruned by western tourist that just going to trash it while treating indigenous locals like foreigners in their own land.
Please send this video to president Putin and another to biden ,more one to Xí Jìnpíng. For all of you don't be the last presedent of your country and the most dreadful dream to the people.

Till the last drop of sea water left then only humans get to realise we are losing everything
life wills out if only humans could evolve so well did we come from the sea are we from this planet

Question is... why isn't the Great Barrier Reef on this list?
I like fish, i love to eat it, can I be a ocean concervative ?
"Biodiversity is biosecurity".
These islands are more prestine and you should keep secrets from world tourism industries

At the start of video I thounght of someone's dead body wrapped in bag. 🥶
