    2.9, 450bhp, Quattro, the open road of the Dublin mountains - what more do you need to test out this beast?!
    For the money, space and performance, there may not be a better car out there. Sure, the BMW M3/4 offer serious competition to the Audi take on getting to destinations just that bit quicker but unless you have X-Drive, the Quattro has the edge, just!

    Finally a reviewer with common sense. Most of us does not have the experience of a professional driver or reviewer that gets to push their test car to the edge all the time. Yet the RS5 let you drive aggressively with much less risk of mishap unlike the M4 and C63S. Can't wait till I get past the 1000 miles break in on mine.

      @@ethanwaterfield3830 Have you driven one? Understeering is pretty much a thing of the past. Unless you're on a track, you'll almost never experience it as the torque vectoring sport diff and the automatic braking of the front inner wheel will take care of it most of the time out on the street. Bobby, greetings from Canada 🇨🇦. I am the proud owner of a 2018 Model S5 Sportback. Even though I own it, I still can't wait till get behind the wheel and just drive. Around town or on the highway it's still a thrill to get in and fire her up. S series slots in between the RS series and the A5. It is just a fantastic automobile. Lusting to upgrade to an RS5 Sportback. 😈

    Very nice car indeed. One thing that has struck me with car reviews in the last few years is pretty much nobody pops the bonnet and gives a view of the engine. Something that was a near given in the past. I suppose because these days it's just a plastic cover?

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  4 года назад +2

      It's funny you say that, when I was editing this video, I thought to myself *should've got an engine bay shot*! Mostly it is a plastic cover and I'm fairly certain this wouldn't have been any different. I've a Volvo Polestar vid coming soon and I did open the bonnet on that one as there as manually adjustable dampers.

      Not on that one. The rear armrest is different than mine. Clearly that one did not have cupholders as there are two very distinct spots on each side for cupholders, this one was all leather. It didn’t even have the storage compartment in the armrest.

    please if you can, never ever grade that no touch screen is a bad thing. It is a good thing, and thank you Audi for that, try out these cars for a trip and then tell me if you miss the touch screen, you would hate it, it is not practical and very very distracting. Doing something major during driving ? are you serious ? :( what do you want, type messages ?

    • @zroxor3801
      @zroxor3801 3 года назад

      @@brakesforsnakes757 yes it is just harder to navigate through menu over touchscreen. Only time this could work if you have touch screen buttons that are separate. But if something is displaying on the same screen and transitions between display screens then it becomes impossible to use it without taking a look. This is the same as messing with the phone while driving and making it 1st on the list to cause car accidents.

    Seen this location on the cars Ireland channel!! As for the car, how long before you have an issue with it? Personally I'd rather buy some more reliable. Lexus LC is the answer, far better to look at and far more reliable even if it has less seats!

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  4 года назад

      Nobby On Cars I agree completely they are two very different machines. Yes had an A4 S Line in the past. I purchased it when it was two years old and had a couple of issues with it. The ABS sensor and the DPF needed replacement even though it was driven a lot (at least it was still under warranty!)Been driving Mazdas ever since and they have been completely trouble free. However I would still love the Lexus, some day maybe.
