What’s the most important thing you learned from this video?
keeping it moving and finding the rhythm
Those student session recordings are probably the most useful type of content for beginner skaters, because we get to see how to fix the mistakes

And you can see everything, from start to end... like okay, that works, you see where are the mistakes happens and JB is able to instruct realy clear on point, without to mutch information, like it some other trainers do!

My driveway is about the same slope as that bank that’s how I learned everything and you’re right it prepared me for actual ramps.

Fakie Rock and Tail Stall are next on my list.
Straightening out the back leg for the tail stall will be a game changer. I haven’t been able to commit to one yet, but that tip is very encouraging.

Working on learning these now, but am super thankful I forced myself to learn how to ride switch early. It took soo much fear out of rolling fakie down ramps.

I still have grave misgivings around fakie rocks; in my experience, you learn them pretty quickly when you're young, but then you also learn they're also called fakie disasters for a reason, and you don't like them enough to keep badly hanging up on like, one in four. Maybe I'll pad up and try to change my own mind once summer kicks in 🤔
Follow my videos, you CAN do it! Once you understand how it works more you’ll build more confidence and it will be much easier, wearing knee pads helps 💙🛹💙
