Imani Lopez if anything that should set you up to understand that no family is perfect. some get off better than others and i’m sorry that isn’t what happened in your case but that gives you no reason to assume someone else situation. so what he found someone after sleeping with someone else. he seems happy, his daughter seems happy, and i’m sure wherever the mom is, she’s probably happy as well. it’s insanely disgusting of you to assume he or his family is messy especially if you come from a broken family as well. as do i but i must say id never and i mean never bash someone (especially without knowing them) about it. i could only hope they find a situation that works for them and go about my day, as should you.
The thing is that not all situations work in the way we might want/hope for them to. I don't think 3 or so year's back he would have thought that his girlfriend (with whom he'd had the child) will not end up with him in the long run, all of us wish to have a holistic family for ourselves, especially for our kids. But unfortunately they had to break up, so I appreciate that he was able to look ahead and find a woman who loves him and his daughter and accepts them both. No one who loves their kids would want for them to grow up in a dysfunctional family, and it is apparent that he's tried his best to prevent that from happening.
It is sad how the times have changed and notions of "Family" have changed with time, but the fact that people are evolving with the changes around them and trying their level best to come out strong and happy needs to be commended; that's my understanding and you do have the right to have your own opinion.
