In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Haute Couture Fashion Week, Vogue France caught up with Jennie in the privacy of her room at the Peninsula, a few hours before the Chanel show. Echoing her light cape that makes her feel like “a little bird,” the K-Pop singer-who rose to fame with Blackpink, like Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo-is taking off solo. Ruby, Jennie’s “very personal” album, with expected collaborations from Dua Lipa, Kali Uchis, Doechii, Childish Gambino, and FJK, is set for release on March 7, 2025. “We’re all going to cry the day it comes out,” the singer announced. The date is set.
