Hi there, this is Shanon’s mom. Ken really doesn’t get on Facebook a lot but he does watch Kyle and Shanon’s channel pretty faithfully. He was very surprised at the number of people who said such kind things about him. He appreciates all of your nice comments. Here is some info on Shanon when she was little. Very tomboyish, has always been a daddy’s girl, wore his old car shirts to sleep in, and generally always has had good relationship with her Dad. We love her so much and we’re so happy she has Kyle for her partner, we love him too🥰. Thanks again for watching and caring about Kyle and Shanon and the whole farm
Thank you, Ken! You are awesome, God richly bless you. Just keep those kids of yours nice and warm, please? Thanks!🥰🙏🏻. Yay, Detroit Lions are in the playoffs…!!!
Thanks to Shanens Dad for helping out. I got locked outside in my jammies yesterday. It was -2 chill factor. I punched the frozen door butoon with my fist and it opened. I was so glad because I already panicked.
We finally got some snow. Not the 10 inches that they said we were going to get but we got some. And it was COLD. It was 0° with a wind chill of -14°. I was so cold I couldn't sleep. I didn't even want to get out of bed to get another blanket. Finally at 10:00 AM I had to go to the bathroom so then I got another blanket and my fuzzy hoodie. And crawled back into bed with the mama cat and the older grandma cat. Then the dog came. Just us girls all cuddled under the blankets.
Hi Kyle and Shanon...and thank you, Ken, for helping K & S get water working in their camper! With 399 comments already posted for this video, I can't possibly read them all to see if someone already said what I'm about to say. You are both, along with many others, in an emergency situation!!! Please don't feel that you have to keep posting to stay "on schedule" with us. Yes, we all love to watch every one of your videos..and...we worry about you in this awful situation. What's most important is that you stay safe and can keep your precious animals safe as much as possible. A quickly posted "short" to let us know you're okay would be fine while these extreme conditions persist. We love and appreciate each of you and your adorable critters and we'll be here for you when the situation is improved. Sending many prayers your way .
Big thanks to Shannon's dad for saving the day! I'm glad you have things functioning, it's definitely not weather you want to be fighting water issues in.hope you all stay warm and cozy.
Big thanks to Shannon's Dad, Ken, coming to help you. It is so great to have the support of friends and family. The goats all look well, and Herc, too. Take care, and stay as warm as you can!
I love listening to Kyle’s voiceovers also. Sometimes they make me laugh. I love watching all the Doss family. Most of the US is in the deep freeze. Keep warm everyone! Glad Shannon’s dad was able to help you.
Bless your hearts. You might look into a temporary underpinning and insulate the back. Not permanent incase you need to move the camper. Old mobile homes had the same issues. Way better than frozen pipes. And a Turbo heater wouldn't be a bad investment just in case. Prayers that you have no more issues. Stay warm!
If you're worried about the goat's foam boards being ripped out by the wind- having a wide washer between the screw head and foam has helped me in the past with similar situations.
You are blessed that you have a tribe to help you. You are doing everything you can for the animals. Thank you to Shannon's dad for all of his help. Stay warm, stay safe and God's blessings to all on Shady Acres from Maple Grove, MN..
Thanks Ken for helping Kyle and Shanon. What a kind and helpful dad. It is so cold, pretty much around the country. Be safe and warm. My daughter lives in Nebraska -18 • now
"A" HUGE THANK YOU" to Ken for helping Kyle & Shanon getting their water set up again!! Kyle & Shanon, I hope things will be better for you now & no more problems with the water. Fingers crossed & Prayer sent for the rest of the winter that things will be better for ya'll now & NO more Problems with freezing water!! THANK YOU, Ken!! Stay Safe Stay Warm K&S & One day at a TIME!!!... God Bless Shady Acres
I love Bleu ... she is so sweet and so happy she lets you all pet and love on her. Her bag does look larger too. Kyle is so funny about Spruce ... lol lol Harry is so sweet with the ice. Many thanks for Dad, Ken. Dad is the best, Many many thanks. This artic blast is really brutal. It is 7 degrees here this morning (Monday) in Central Kentucky. All the best to you all.
Ken thank you for saving the kids again. Lol. I hope you like vegetables because I hope Kyle and Shannon grow an enormous garden next years with tons of giant pumpkins.
Thank you dad Ken, you are a true lifesaver! Thank you to the church also for the donation of all of the straw, I knew it would be a great help for the winter but it’s even more so than we knew back then. Good luck during the remainder of this arctic front that is blasting the states. I pray that all of the animals stay safe and that sweet Blue doesn’t decide to have those goatlets yet. 💕👋
Thanks to Ken for his expertise and willingness to help 🙏🙏😊 Blessings to you both, Shanon you should not take on any guilt.. it’s all a new experience. Stay safe and warm .Blessings to you and your animals 🙏🙏🙏🥰
I know the wind has been nuts. I had a quick flash back to hurricanes in the past. I walked out to my mailbox, and at one point i literally thought it was gonna knock me down. Everyone please be safe and try to stay warm. Thank you Shannon's Dad.
Many many prayers for you and all living in the cold. I am truly Blessed to be living in Az. Worrying and praying for all homeless people in the USA and the world. ❤
I checked the temperature map today. You guys are getting down towards the single digits. I would put something over that foam board to keep the goats from nibbling on it. Stay safe and stay warm! 💖💖💖
I'm praying for absolutely everyone battling this cold. Here in Iowa, with wind chill factor, it was -35°. It's brutal, to say the least. Stay warm, Doss family, and extended family here on RUclips. ❤
Hey guys! 5 degrees right now in mid South Missouri. My tiny shed at least keeps me above freezing most of the time, but with these extremes a neighbor has a cabin with a wood stove and I'm visiting for a while. Glad you got the issues fixed with the camper! Water is frozen here probably for the rest of winter, but managed to grab a shower yesterday before everything froze up! Off grid living is the bomb!! 😂😂😂 Texas Deb ❤️
So sorry about your water😢 I was so afraid mine would be frozen too, woke up to -11 here in Illinois with the wind chill at -37 , then an hour later it dropped down a little more.. and similar most of the week..😢praying for everyone across the country with this artic blast and snow with the wind ..A big thank you to Shanons dad ,coming to the rescue ! Good idea to put around the faucet..
Thank you Ken for helping out with the frozen water issue, with the goatlets chewing on the styrofoam could you use some pellet boards at the bottom of the styrofoam to keep them from chewing the foam. Very entertaining you are doing awesome
Many thanks to.Sharon's dad for coming to the rescue. I don't do well with cold fingers and toes, so the heat pads sound good. Love how the goats are all fluffed up like they have their own puffa jackets. Blessings to you both, Herc and the farm. Stay toasty! ❤
Blue is such an amazing, awesome mommy. I love seeing how she was laying in the hay, eating, with her kids snuggled in between her & the shelter wall. And she's beautiful too!!!
Thank you Ken for rescuing Shannon & Kyle with their water problem. You are so special to come out in the freezing cold. They are such an amazing couple and it’s such a shame that they keep running into these bad situations. God bless you all!
I haven't heard you talk about having a house built on your property since you brought out your camper. Are you considering it more now? Stay warm and positive. ❤🇨🇦
Thank you Shannon's dad for helping out your kids, Shannon and Kyle. Kids are a blessing to us but at the same time we are ablessing to them. God bless you!
Maybe Herc needs a stall to eat in to keep the goatlets out of his food. And note to Harry... If you lick a frozen dish you run the risk of getting your tongue stuck. Not that I've ever done that... in years. 😅 Blessings from northern Illinois.
Ken, we are so thankful for you being there for Kyle and Shanon to assist them and prevent them from being without running water inside their camper on these wintry freezing cold days 🥶❣️🦋🍎
Good to see you could get the water going again. I’m in. Minnesota and my weather from Sunday to Tuesday is -1 to -6 for daytime temps. Good to see all the goats are doing well with your weather. Take care and God Bless.
Thank you, Shannon's Dad, for helping Kyle and Shannon. You both have accomplished so much and have learned a lot. Having family that you can call upon for some help or support is priceless. Your animals will be warm and cozy in their shelters. Praying that you all stay safe and warm. ❤️
Hi from snowy chilly Chiloquin Oregon 👍❣️ 🙏 we totally understand what you are dealing with. We have a heat light that goes on in our pump house when the temp drops below 35 and under the trailer etc. Leaving the water drip isn't enough with wind chills bringing us into the negative.
Thanks Ken for helping Kyle and Shanon with the water and winterizing the bottom of the camper 😊! It’s so cold 🥶! Glad you’re both taking care of the animals, but getting back in the camper as soon as you can! Thanks for sharing, take care, stay warm, God Bless🙏🏻🤗💕!
I come back to listen to Kyle voiceover for Spruce and the other animals. Haha!! Kyle needs to start an animated show or write a children's book about animal adventures. Goatville can be there daily destination and back "home" in the evening to end the show or book.
@@TashaOneal-l8h what did he complain about. He is allowed to post subscription box for his dog and do a mini faux commercial box opening video in parts of his channel. The subscription boxes might even encourage them. That seems to be how it works. Could be fun.
