UP Naming Mahal

This is a music video of the University of the Philippines Hymn UP Naming Mahal produced by TVUP.
Originally written as UP Beloved by Teogenes Velez, the song would be translated to Filipino, with composite lyrics from seven entries in a contest held by the university. The judges could not find a single entry which solely encapsulated the English version.
The music is composed by Nicanor Abelardo, rearranged by Hilarion Rubio and Tomas Aguirre, after the original composition was found too high a note for the average singer.
