You have a surprisingly low number of subs for a channel with the best tutorials for basically all the games I want to get into.
Please, please continue making them!
Those are among the best , thorough tutorials I have ever seen.
Thanks for the kind words, jr. I just started a little over a month ago and the channel is growing rapidly - I plan on doing this for a very long time so you can say you were one of the first 1K ;)
Could not put this better or be more supportive of this comment!!
@@MrPhantom453 Thanks, Phantom!
@@strategygamingdojo5278 if i can suggest use more comunity options . Tell us what u will do . This wil incerase range of your canal . More people will know about you .
So far the best tutorials for this game 👏👏👏
Polish SS 😳
That’s so far out there lol 😂
Thank you for your tutorials. I bought the game in 2016 and has never played it properly or enjoyed it at all. Now I’m intrigued after watching your very thorough tutorials in 2024 and am no longer bewildered on how to start playing!
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate you doing these. As others have said, these are the best tutorials out there; not to mention the ones your doing for WITP, the JT series, and AGEOD. Please keep it up, and I hope the channel’s popularity explodes. Your doing an absolutely phenomenal job!
Thank you for the kind words
Agree wholeheartedly
Woah! I never knew that Polizei means Polish in German. I always thought it means Police.
BTW. Polen is Poland and Pole mean Polish (person). Yeah, I also learn how not to assume words meaning because they sound similar. It can lead to big misunderstandings.
I agree with Jr. Your tutorials are the clearest and most complete. On an aside I wouldn't be overly concerned with calling the Soviets "Russians". They were the majority of troops and most of the leadership. The French had many colonial troops in their army and they are still called French. Just my 2 cents.
Agreed. No sense in being so damn politically correct.
Really great to see such detailed but easy to follow videos 👍🏻 keep them coming!
you're doing gods work. this is helping so much in understanding how to play WitE
Your knowledge and teaching ability is impressive. Enjoying the hell out of your tutorial. Had the game for years, would turn it on then say no way to myself and close it. You have changed all that.
Great job!!!
Totally agree with your POV on fog of war. In Campaign Series: Fall Weiss I appreciate using my fighters as scouts to see where the hell the enemy is before committing my troops! I love not knowing where anything is and second guessing like in real life. Yes please detail the CV Mode!
These tutorials are extremely helpful. I am just starting but you have made this quite interesting and the degree of helpfulness is the best I have found. Thank you and I hope that you know these are appreciated.
thank you for the tutorial I just bought the game and was clueless at the start
The SS unit at approx 40 minute mark is the SS Polezi Division. Made up of SS police units. It is not Polish..
Yep. I was called out on that one several times
I bought GG war in the East some time ago but like some comments, thought it was so vast that I would never understand how to play. Just watched the firs 2 of your Basic Tutorials and already I am feeling that by the end of Part 16 I will be raring to go. Then on to Lets Play. Just as an aside, will you be doing tutorials for DC Barbarossa? That would be absolutely fantastic.
Hi, Peter. Thank you. I'm currently doing DC: Ardennes Offensive and hope to do Barbarossa at some point. So many games, so little time
Thank you for responding. These strategy games are so huge so that I am at a loss as to know how you manage to do so much> Thanks again
Great videos!
Polizei ss infantry division , is not polish , but a unit formed from german police
Good info. Thanks for the comment
@@strategygamingdojo5278 Being Polish it was a bit painful to hear "polish SS unit"... but no hard feelings, I forgive you :) Honest mistake.
Haha ya came here to say this. Polizei = Police
@@jrumiak there were polish ss units but they were either brigade level or regiment level.
@@TheKadanz xD
About the "russian" issue: just say "soviet". It's historically accurate and as easy to pronounce as "russian". It's even a letter shorter! :D
I'm always trying to say Soviet
Reconnected with an old WitE opponent and getting back into this one. For my money, this is better than WitE2.
I would like to see an explanation of better CV math.
The Polizei Division was formed in October 1939, when 15,000 members of the Ordnungspolizei were drafted and placed together with artillery and signals units transferred from the army. These men were not enrolled in the SS and remained policemen, retaining their Orpo rank structure and insignia. Himmler's purpose in forming the division was twofold: in a period of heated bureaucratic infighting and competition for manpower, it permitted him to get around the recruitment caps the Wehrmacht had succeeded in placing on the SS, it also provided a means for his policemen to satisfy their military obligation and avoid army conscription.[2] The first commander was Generalleutnant der Polizei (Major-General) Karl Pfeffer-Wildenbruch, a career police commander who had been a general staff officer during World War I; simultaneous with his appointment he was also commissioned as an SS-Gruppenführer. The division was equipped largely with captured Czech materiel and underwent military training in the Black Forest combined with spells on internal security duties in Poland.
poliezi means police in german.
