  • Hello! ✨
Happy weekend! I hope you all are doing well!
After playing with our Sylvanian for almost everyday, the figures starts to fade. My daughter really love this “wabbit” so much and as toddler, they don’t play as delicate as adults do. But it’s fine for me. ^-^
So I figured out that I need to repaint the Sylvanian.
Oh! And some of the figures that I bought did not match the chocolate colour shade! 😵‍💫 So I decided I need to make them all as equally shade ✨
⭐️If you want to try this please be caution on few things:⭐️
1- Don’t over wet your brush. (This will make the colour spread too much)
2- Test on an old figures first.
3- May fade again but you just have to repeat it (easy!).
4- Make sure your figure dry before touching it. Air dry would be perfect!
5- The colour results may depends on your watercolor quality.
    ⭐️What I use in the video: ⭐️
    1- Watercolour (Dark Brown)
2- Water to dilute the colour.
    3- Brush.
    4- Figure.
    5- Cloth to pat.
Hehe, that’s all from me! Thank you!

Watercolor !! What a great tip you're giving us here ! Last time I tried with make up but it didn't last for long 😂

I haven’t thought about makeup! Can it last longer if set it with water in the end? 🤔

Paint seems to work better than markers, the markers tend to bleed. I have also bought small bags of flocking in several colors on Etsy and I have had good results with restoring the flocking if the damage isn’t too bad.

I just did this right now! I made one of my repeat chocolate rabbits into a really cute speckled bunny, and I also gave them a little bit of a blush and a pinker nose!

Great! I used acrylic paint for 2 rabbits and it doesn’t look bad, it’s just it comes off easily, and it’s too dark. But after trying watercolor on the rest of them it was amazing. Best recommendation.

This is really helpful, I've only ever tried with markers but they bleed really easily! I'd not have thought to use water colours, thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the video, I find your video when I try searching for the coloring tutorial. I want to customize mine to tuxedo cat and I wonder if the watercolor paint last longer. did it stain to the other body part or clothes when dried?

      Hi! Thanks for watching!
I think it depends on how you play with the figures. Because mine vanishes because my toddler plays with it everyday so all I have to do is retouch it again.
Mine didn’t have any issues on staining once it’s dried.
      Hope this helps! ❤

After repairing with watercolor, does the flocking stay soft? Or is there a coat of color texture?

    • @iaacryign
      @iaacryign 3 месяца назад +2

It depends on the type!! If you’re using something very chalky youll have to gently rub with a qtip, i use some kuretake gansai tambi watercolor paints and they leave the flocking nice and soft :)
