Dragon Shields are the best sleeves available. I only sometimes use Ultra Pro when I'm to much of a cheap bastard to buy DS.

I love this episode, no wonder wizard banned the power 9, they're way too dangerous in the hand of mortals, if time walk can do this, imagine what black lotus will do.

The funny thing is that almost nobody could disprove that this is what actually happens when you play time walk because almost nobody have it.

Magic: the Groundhog Daying.
This take on Groundhog's Day as a story mechanic is absolute gold for a skit.
I've seen this half a dozen times and never put this together before - Jer mentions he got a GREAT deal on the Time Walk. Then he gives Alex a great deal on it. It was cursed for the previous owner too! Good writing, LRR!

My favorite part is that Jeremy just goes with it. It only took him five rounds to solve everything. His ability to Groundhog Day so seamlessly is commendable.

Jer is running strip mine in a 100 Singleton deck. Strip Mine is banned in 100 singleton.
On their TTC podcast there's an episode about Victoria's Highlander scene and they explain that they don't use a ban list but a point system. That's probably what they are using.

What if... Timewalk... on THE COUCH?
I keep watching this video over and over again. Either I'm stuck in a time loop or it was just that good.
At that time Time Walk was worth $798 according to Goldfish and foil Dark Confidants (RAV, Judge promo, and MMA) were pretty consistently around $200. At best in late May 2021 the Judge promo is $234, the RAV foil is $109, and the MMA foil is $60 while the Time Walk is a bit under $4400.
I have used the "ARE YOU A WIZARD??!?" line so many times since I first watched this episode many years ago.
A year later, Alex blows up the timeline by using that card.
I don't know how many times I've watched this episode, and it's still my favourite
Groundhog day episode! I love the incorporation of classic stories into your sketches
Love the way you repeated the day but with changes in how people talked and things like that, much more realistic than even some movies.

Never tried dragon shields sleeves... I usually use matte ultra pro... DS better or worse?
dragon shields aren't good for clean freaks because they collect A LOT of dirt. But they also are the best feeling, durability(other than that translucent hard plastic), and shuffling.
BassB23 I've never used KMC Hyper Mats, so I can't comment on them. However, the rest of the list I can confirm to be true.
KMC Hyper-mat > KMC Mat > Dragon Shield (sometimes) > KMC Super > Ultra-pro Matte > Legion > Dragon Shield (other times) > Ultra-pro printed.
I haven't used Max Protect, and DS has consistency issues. I've only ever split or broken a KMC sleeve when I accidentally caught one in the open end of another, and that can happen to any sleeve.
If you get some DS with good welds (luck of the draw, unfortunately), then they'll last longer than the KMCs, but they aren't nearly as nice to play with.
Added to the list are the stacks of weird Chinese and Japanese off-brands. Some of them are amazing, and some fall apart when you look at them wrong. I haven't found a way to tell which is which without just using them.
