    A large number of international students study at TSU, and their number is only increasing every year! When moving to our country, students learn the difficult Russian language, learn the peculiarities of the mentality of Russian residents, get acquainted with traditions and customs and, of course, get used to the harsh Siberian winter!
    Here they get to know the culture of our country, but at the same time they do not forget the traditions of their homeland. Each nation is unique and interesting, and that's why we decided to get to know each other (and introduce you!) in a series of video interviews with the cultural peculiarities of the countries from which different students of our university came.
    👩‍🦰The heroine of the project "Through the Eyes of a Foreigner" is a 3rd-year PhD student of the Faculty of Historical and Political Sciences of TSU - Michelle Veronica Llanga Martinez. She told us about her native Ecuador.
    By the way, some interesting facts about Ecuador:
    1) This country is known as the world capital of orchids;
    2) The name of Ecuador comes from the equatorial line that crosses the territory of the country;
    3) Chocolate has been consumed there for almost 5,000 years.
    If you want to find out what traditions Ecuadorians have, how they celebrate holidays and what they like to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner - rather watch the interview with Michelle! (spoiler: the release contains exciting videos from Ecuador)!✨
