Scenes like this make naval service seem realistic. Sci-fi shows usually got lost in techno-babble. In a later scene on board Pegasus, Commander Gardner was trying to fix a valve with a sledgehammer and wrench.
"You're either the XO or you're not."
he said it himself, "if the crew does not hate the XO, he's not doing his job right" (I might be misremembering that quote)
The ship comes first.
The fact that they survived a nuke is impressive. Hull plating and no shields.
This is my favourite scene. This is the real deal.
