- Sometimes Christians can become more fixated on the details of Christ’s second coming than on the Christ who is to come. Today, Sinclair Ferguson offers an unexpected suggestion to help balance our view of the Lord’s return.

We must for ever remember that we owe our life to the Lord’s grace and love that took Him through the horrors of the cross to spare us from going through the horrors of an eternity in hell. The way is confronting us with the truth of our lives , the truthfulness of our commitment to living a godly life and our love for walking with the Lord, taking our cross as evidence we are waiting for His second coming, when our joy will be completed ,by seeing Him as beings that are as beautiful as He is.
We will see his❤ face ❤,see Him just as he is "...
I have more hunger for learning the of the Power in how God has chosen us in Christ predestined us and elected us that we are in Him. At least this time of my life this is the forefront. I know He is coming back, I wait for Him to come back and it’s like I have received it already in my heart guaranteed.
I find great comfort in knowing Jesus is coming back. And if I'm not here to see that happen, it means I'm already in his presence!
Amen
This approach not only helps keep Christians wise and sane but helps stopping Christianity becoming a laughing stock for the secular world
A beautiful and poetic and true description of the second coming is in Houston's Smiths book "The Soul of Christianity "
Yes, the heart of the Gospel. “In Remembrance of Me!” The Lord Jesus Himself, His Appearing✝️♥️✝️
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
So excellent Pastor Ferguson. Focus on The Lord Jesus Himself. “ye do shew the Lord's death till he come”.
♥️✝️♥️
Before the sun comes up, my heart is delighted to listen to this brother and encourage me to focus on the most important thing. And that's jesus himself.😅
Thanks
just the title..thank u v much ineeded this badly God bless u can't even say❤
He comes twice. Once in the clouds for the rapture; then for the battle at Armageddon. I believe the rapture is before the tribulation as the word says we aren’t destined to wrath.
I'm an amillennialists are post tribulation.
The Scriptures indicate we will meet Him in the sky and be glorified. Doesn’t mention that we turn around and go back to heaven.
when Jesus returns, heaven will be here on Earth:
New heavens and new earth: When Jesus returns, God will bring about a new heaven and a new earth, where Christ will reign with his people forever.
God's kingdom: God's kingdom will come down to the new earth, and he will dwell with us together.
Resurrected bodies: We will receive resurrected bodies that are like Christ's, both physical and spiritual.
Eternal life: We will live with our Creator forever, seeing him face to face.

Why proclaim His death and not His Resurrection?
Why proclaim His death and not His Life?
Why proclaim His death and not His Ascension?
Why proclaim His death and not Redemption?
Why proclaim His death and not Life in His Spirit?
Jesus Christ is God of Life and Eternal Life!
The (Last Day) is the
future 2nd Coming...

DISPENSATIONALISM
teachings (are not) Biblical...
Thus says the Lord Jesus Christ
According to Calvin's Institutes/Calvinistic theology, that is irrelevant. The pre-chosen elect will be irresistibly regenerated at some point. Salvation for some & pre-reprobation for most has been fatalistically predetermined wether you share the gospel or not. Unbiblical beliefs have consequences.
Balanced Christians or "fence sitters" looking to ensure we don't offend anyone? Love your teaching Sinclair, but I find most "big name" teachers like to sit on fences. Loved R.C. but he did it as well.
