I like seeing your golfing journey mate thanks for sharing. Definitely get some lessons when back in Uk I think that’ll really help. Penalty shots are killing you at the minute bud
Hey James, thanks for sharing. Do you watch ‘golf sidekick’? He’s based in Thailand, and a really funny guy. Maybe you could get some coaching from him and post the video.
Not sure if they’ve ever met but I found James’ channel off the back of golf sidekick giving him a shoutout, agree it would be great to see them collaborate
Playing in 40c,here in sw france i play when its 45c and one thing about that heat is the ball travels far more, one can club down due to flight and distance plus the bonus of not many out so no pressure. Great round and well done.
Yeah, the ball really does fly in the heat. I've started drinking salt water pre-round and also put electrolyte sachets in my water. Helps a lot with the heat. Despite putting suntan lotion on my legs were burnt after this round and were on fire in the night! lol
@ReviewsForGolfers are most of the cheap courses in Bangkok this short and easy? I never see this guy play a full on par 72 course with a 125 or higher rating. I might do Thailand next winter. Thanks for any advice. Take care.
Quick internet search: An executive course is a blend of a Par-3 course and a full-length course. Executive golf courses are shorter and feature more par-3 holes than a full length course, yet mix in some par 4 and 5 holes to allow golfers the opportunity to hit the longer clubs in their bag, including driver.
Do you ever enjoy a pint with these lovely lady caddies? Another fine video from the laid back golfer, thank you sir. I live in canada, snow everywhere, so this is as close to golf that I get right now.

@@RonMcK So many courses for all levels.... I've played 3 or 4 many are on the outskirts but not that far. Some are 5 star and tournament ready others are public grade but still fun.
Thanks for the reply. I certainly don't need 5 star. I'm a 20 hcp (this is my 3rd year playing). Public courses would be great if the green fees are reasonable. I play great winter golf (Jan-April) in Spain for 40 euro or less cart included. I've been to S.E.A. many times but it was before i started golfing. I just noticed that all the courses he's playing in Wales or Thailand are really short and quite easy looking. This one is just over 2000 yards for 9 holes!! It doesn't need to be in the Bangkok region. I'll go where ever the best value courses are. I love Asia and I wouldn't mind going back there next winter. Thanks again for the great information and take care. @@jameslovering9158
@@RonMcK There's a full par 72 next door to this one (less than half a mile away). Much more expensive and busy. Not sure the rating. It's called Krung Thep Kreeta.
I enjoyed watching this as it's my local course and I film it nearly every time I play it. This is my video from Monday March 11 (I scored my equal fifth best on the course). ruclips.net/video/Dlblx5lGpiU/видео.html
Cheers David. I usually play the front 9 in around +6 so this was very mediocre. I’ve seen some of your vids and you seem to know Unico like the back of your hand! Very tidy approach play which helps so much with scoring. Thanks for watching 👍👍👍
Keep the uploads coming. Easy to watch and no bs.
Nice to start seeing your golf videos appearing again. Cheers from Maryland!
Cheers man, thanks for watching :)
Great video. Lots of great details about the course sprinkled in.
Mosque noise 😂. Believe its the call to prayer.
Good round once again, bloody tricky course!
Nice video , love watching people play. Thanks .
Cheers mate, thanks for watching 👍👍
Great effort in the heat
Good work James. Keep the vlogs coming.

Good idea. Would be fun watchen them play.
Great idea. I think James would need a couple of pints before meeting Matt though.

Thanks James 👍🏼
9 holes with a caddie for under a tenner, what a bargain.
Great content as always James, ever so slightly envious here in soaking wet Kent 😂
You have to pay a caddie tip too but even with that it's still good value. Thanks for watching dave :)
Nice to see a fellow north wales man playing golf on RUclips! (You sound like you’re from north wales😂)
Another great video James, please keep them coming and enjoy your golf!!!...
Cheers Andrew, I've not been too stressed about scoring recently and it makes for a much more enjoyable round. Thanks for watching :)
James , I always enjoy watching your vids , keep up the good work Sir 🏌️
Hi James, what shot tracer do you use ? Cheers
Shot Tracer Pro app
Whats the normal caddy tip for 18 holes James ?
Around 500 baht for 18 holes which is £11. You can tip from 300-1000 baht depending on your experience...
@@notaperfectgolfer3489 I know lots of golfers go to Thailand but suspect the core driver is not golf lol.
40 degrees and the caddy has a long sleeve jacket on 😅

Was curious if English is common in Thailand, or if you speak Thai?
I speak a bit of Thai, the caddies speak almost no English :)
Photalai driving range is the best

Not personally but I know a couple of Thai golfers and one said they sometimes have 'caddie parties' :)
@@notaperfectgolfer3489 all you need now is an invite
38C and you have 2 layers on? 🤔
It's a thin layer to protect against sunburn. Many people wear them in Thailand 👍👍
I Played Golf In 40°C Heat. This Is What Happened To My Legs.,,,,,,,,,,, so what happened to your legs ??
They got sunburnt! :)
I know the best cheap course as well near the city
