I LOVE Coronado Springs. This is coming from someone who has stayed at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian numerous times. Coronado is beautiful, the grounds, the pool, the food (even quick service) is awesome, the spa was a great day to unwind and had a small neighborhood vibe with very friendly staff, and our room was beautiful. Our room had wood floors, lovely tile in the bathroom, a huge shower, a Keurig, wood doors separating the bathroom from the main room, and was very tastefully themed. Because it’s a convention center, there are more “adulty” things to do and things that appeal to adults. The price is also very reasonable for what you get (a full service very nice resort). I see comments that WiFi and room amenities didn’t work, I have personally never had this experience but when they were renovating I could see this being an issue. Also they have seemed to crack down on security and we always feel safe here as two single females. They have police and guards patrolling the grounds in golf carts. Every time we have checked in, they gave us a map, recommendations, and have offered to take our bags. One concierge even told us how to get reservations and how to get on E ticket rides without a fast pass and hours of waiting and it all worked. 30 min and we were on Flight of Passage. Their quick service chorizo breakfast potato hash was super delicious. Also can I say Margaritas?! They never skimp even at the pool! My best friend and I always do our girls trips here. We will go to the spa and hang out by the pool bar and go to the parks during extra magic hours and check our phones during the day and see when lines aren’t too bad and hop on the bus. I live in north GA and she is an Orlando local so when we plan our trips it usually is a spontaneous weekend when I can fly in. We don’t book 120 days in advance for rides and dinner reservations etc. we are prolly the few who come home relaxed after a Disney girls trip as we don’t stress. The GF will always be my favorite, but I don’t have a spare $800 a night without my parents and you can stay at Coronado for 3-4 nights for the same price. It’s definitely my second favorite. Next time we should def try ville de lago!
Katya Weikel I’m happy you had a good experience. I live in Orlando and have taking many staycations at many of the resorts including the Grand, Poly and many more. Next will be at the Riviera. I also have the opportunity to walk around the grounds, try the restaurants and then decide to stay there or not. I have 2 free nights and deciding where to go.
Joyce Rossi I used to live in Tampa and was there much more often, but alas, my job took me to GA. I’d love to have the “try it before you buy it” experience lol. That is definitely an advantage to living there and smart. I have to rely on word of mouth but locals definitely help with this. I also enjoy Saratoga springs. Their tree houses are amazing. The royal rooms at Port Orleans are also nice and very cute but I prefer the coronado’s food and amenities to port orleans. My parents stayed at Beach Club a while back (before I was born) and were not impressed. That was a LONG time ago though and things change for the better. I would love a board walk recommendation! I’d love to stay at Animal Kingdom lodge also but similarly I have heard mixed reviews (some being they have stayed everywhere and it is the end all be all and others say it was crowded, cramped, loud, small rooms, too out of the way) and for the price, it better be good lol. It’s kinda the choice of staying somewhere where you know you have a good time and trying something new that may be a 50/50. I’m open to trying other places if the price is right. I have even done the stay off Disney property thing and commuted, but IMO even though more expensive, staying on property gives you more amenities (free transportation) and magic!
5:35 - Had no intention of getting one of those Oaxacan carvings but I did anyways, just to make sure I got something that was unique to the Coronado resort. No regrets, It has a good place on the wall-o-vacation-memories. There's a certain appreciation for things hand-painted, as well as any gift shop that's willing to stock with something other than factory produced assembly line items.
This is about a year late but i’ve been watching you since before covid, now we are finally going to disney world in May! Thank you for all your tips, we ended up deciding on this hotel actually for six nights and 5 disney days! We are going to try and make our experience as best as possible and with all your tips from your videos I’m sure that won’t be hard
We traveled from Australia and stayed there for our Honeymoon in 2013. Was a great time and this brings back fond memories. We are obsessed with this channel. Love it! Thanks Molly.
Best moderate resort period. We like it better than some of the deluxe resorts. Beautiful place, spacious, lots of dining, and the pools are impressive.

Coronado’s usually my family’s go-to resort, but last year we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside to avoid the construction and everyone loved it so much that I believe that’s where we’re staying this year (although I’m gonna be at Coronado in July)
Me and my fiance stayed here last year in April and loved it! We enjoyed Maya Grill a lot. We had an amazing waiter and the margaritas are pretty potent and delicious which was good. We were told that their margaritas have more tequila than other Disney margaritas. 😊
seriously beautiful. i went last summer and it is so NICE! i tried the to-go salads for my dinners and they were pretty decent. the pool has a pretty neat slide too. anyways, the rooms are super nice and it's overall very pretty

But she was no princess until then. Cinderella and Tiana weren't either. Snow White, yes, Ariel, yes, the tangled girl, yes. The other's didn't become princesses until they married. Now they are princesses.

The movie is about a prince who was turned into a beast and became a prince again when an non princess taught him to love. I'm sticking with this. LOL

You’ve made my husband & I so excited to experience Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!😍We just booked our very first trip to Walt Disney World for our 2nd wedding anniversary in March 2022! This resort has the feels of a deluxe resort without the price! Although we won’t be at the resort much, we’re super excited to call it home for a week!
This is my FAVORITE place to stay. Beautiful scenery and lake walking trails with fresh updated rooms. My husband and I stayed here after my parents recommended it a few years ago and now were hooked. Been there 3 times so far and staying in the tower next month. I might be a little petty, but I enjoy the preferred rooms close to the front for the more immersive disney vibe. Last time my husband and I stayed in the Rancho area and had to walk through parking lots to get to our bus and had to drive to the front gift shop to pick up our shipped souvenirs. I grew up going to the Wilderness Lodge before it was so expensive and this is a wonderful comparison to a deluxe hotel. Also, there are TONS of families here, its NOT packed with huge groups or business people. :)
Very comprehensive tour of the resort. But it would really make it more complete if you included a tour of the rooms themselves along with the prices. It would also be nice for you to tell us the costs of the different food items you’re recommending. Please keep up the good work, all very useful information.
Love that the Barcelona lounge is in the style of Gaudi (the shape of the columns, the color). If you can Barcelona is a great place to visit. If you like this design style La Sagrada Familia will blow your mind!

We were just there! It was great, but i think we will keep looking for our favorite resort. Downside one - we found was that the tower is the last stop on the route, so it is dropped off last at night, and since it is the last stop in the morning, was very full. We also saw zero wait times (like it didn't update to a time in 20 mins) and no buses for Hollywood studios people two days in a row. Felt so bad when our bus arrived and we knew they wouldn't make it in time to get a boarding pass. Downside 2 - it was cheer weekend, so we had herds of teenagers everywhere. Felt like what people have described the All-Stars, but less screamy. Someone mentions below that there were alot of childless businessmen, we were surrounded by girls talking about how they were going to get their trophies home. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't lend itself to feeling upscale. The room was fantastic, but we were barely in it and it was just two of us, so we couldn't really appreciate the space it had. The quick service was yummy, but we had to wait like 10 minutes for the chicken club sandwich, by which point the nachos were cold. Both were delicious but if I had known the sandwich was going to take literally that long, i would have waited to get the nachos. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and might consider it if we bring a bigger group, because that central location to so many parks was a plus, even if the transportation was limited. Lyft to Hollywood studios was like 10 bucks so #worthitat5:30am The downstairs bar was one of my favorite parts of being in the tower , A+ to the staff there. We chilled on a couch for about an hour before our bus left for the airport, and I ended up drinking two of the lattes. A cast member was circulating the room every once in a while and brought them over and it was just really relaxing and comfortable.
Hi Molly! My family and I stayed in the Ranchos neighborhood in August last year and we had a fantastic time! Since we stayed in the ranchos, we had a pretty far walk to the Gran Destino Tower especially when we would have to wake up at 6 and walk all the way there to get coffees! Sometimes we would get dropped off late at night at the Tower to rise our cups and things like that and if you ask the front desk, they can sometimes order a golf cart to pick you up and drive you! When we were there a hurricane was coming so they were offering a lot of rooms to locals! 💖
I adore Coronado Springs but man the bus situation is rough. I stayed in the tower last September and it was incredible but my only issue is that the buses are few and far between. I was fine with having to stop at multiple stops but yikes, we waited an hour for a bus from Epcot one afternoon. Also looks like Mercado’s menu has changed a little! Hopefully they have those chicken and waffles when I come in June. ❤️🥰
Sarah Blank we just figure Lyft into our budget, $5-7 is a small price to pay to avoid the busses, then we’ll take the bus back because we aren’t in a hurry.
You forgot to mention the hammocks! This resort is beautiful and fun to just sit around and relax at! The club level is amazing also! Delicious food selections (Spanish influences) and the staff is wonderful!

15:00 - Molly's absolutely right. I ate at the Maya Grill. I'm from San Diego where we know what real Mexican food is. The food here looked more middle-eastern than Mexican. We couldn't find a thing that looked remotely close to Mexican food. A lot of what East coasters consider to be "Mexican food" isn't close to reality. A shame since I could see a good upscale real Mexican food place doing well here.
I personally really liked Maya Grill when I went last June. I don't know if I went at the right time or if I just got the right items, but their tortilla soup was amazing and I liked the empanada that I had and thought it was quite better than the quick service at Epcot. The thing I most disliked is the depth of the hotel. It was June, so it was blazing outside, and I had to stop back at the hotel for a nap in the AC before I went back into the parks almost every afternoon, but it was like a 10-15 minute walk back to the room from the nearest bus stop. The resort was beautifully themed though.
Such a fun video and now I have to have some watchos! My husband and I are looking forward to our trip to this resort in the fall--it was scheduled to be our honeymoon but COVID-19 is making it our 1 year anniversary! And yes, I knew exactly what you meant about the Disney Channel ear-drawing LOL!

We were just there! It was great, but i think we will keep looking for our favorite resort. Downside one - we found was that the tower is the last stop on the route, so it is dropped off last at night, and since it is the last stop in the morning, was very full. We also saw zero wait times (like it didn't update to a time in 20 mins) and no buses for Hollywood studios people two days in a row. Felt so bad when our bus arrived and we knew they wouldn't make it in time to get a boarding pass. Downside 2 - it was cheer weekend, so we had herds of teenagers everywhere. Felt like what people have described the All-Stars, but less screamy. Someone mentions below that there were alot of childless businessmen, we were surrounded by girls talking about how they were going to get their trophies home. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't lend itself to feeling upscale. The room was fantastic, but we were barely in it and it was just two of us, so we couldn't really appreciate the space it had. The quick service was yummy, but we had to wait like 10 minutes for the chicken club sandwich, by which point the nachos were cold. Both were delicious but if I had known the sandwich was going to take literally that long, i would have waited to get the nachos. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and might consider it if we bring a bigger group, because that central location to so many parks was a plus, even if the transportation was limited. Lyft to Hollywood studios was like 10 bucks so #worthitat5:30am The downstairs bar was one of my favorite parts of being in the tower , A+ to the staff there. We chilled on a couch for about an hour before our bus left for the airport, and I ended up drinking two of the lattes. A cast member was circulating the room every once in a while and brought them over and it was just really relaxing and comfortable.
Hi Molly! My family and I stayed in the Ranchos neighborhood in August last year and we had a fantastic time! Since we stayed in the ranchos, we had a pretty far walk to the Gran Destino Tower especially when we would have to wake up at 6 and walk all the way there to get coffees! Sometimes we would get dropped off late at night at the Tower to rise our cups and things like that and if you ask the front desk, they can sometimes order a golf cart to pick you up and drive you! When we were there a hurricane was coming so they were offering a lot of rooms to locals! 💖

I adore Coronado Springs but man the bus situation is rough. I stayed in the tower last September and it was incredible but my only issue is that the buses are few and far between. I was fine with having to stop at multiple stops but yikes, we waited an hour for a bus from Epcot one afternoon. Also looks like Mercado’s menu has changed a little! Hopefully they have those chicken and waffles when I come in June. ❤️🥰
Sarah Blank we just figure Lyft into our budget, $5-7 is a small price to pay to avoid the busses, then we’ll take the bus back because we aren’t in a hurry.
You forgot to mention the hammocks! This resort is beautiful and fun to just sit around and relax at! The club level is amazing also! Delicious food selections (Spanish influences) and the staff is wonderful!
I stayed here in December of 2019 we got to see them decorate for the holidays it was beautiful

15:00 - Molly's absolutely right. I ate at the Maya Grill. I'm from San Diego where we know what real Mexican food is. The food here looked more middle-eastern than Mexican. We couldn't find a thing that looked remotely close to Mexican food. A lot of what East coasters consider to be "Mexican food" isn't close to reality. A shame since I could see a good upscale real Mexican food place doing well here.

I personally really liked Maya Grill when I went last June. I don't know if I went at the right time or if I just got the right items, but their tortilla soup was amazing and I liked the empanada that I had and thought it was quite better than the quick service at Epcot. The thing I most disliked is the depth of the hotel. It was June, so it was blazing outside, and I had to stop back at the hotel for a nap in the AC before I went back into the parks almost every afternoon, but it was like a 10-15 minute walk back to the room from the nearest bus stop. The resort was beautifully themed though.
