Am I the only one who notice that Yeji’s vocal tone changes whenever she’s hitting high notes? I mean not necessarily in this song only but in general, I notice Yeji’s vocal tones changes when she’s singing high notes. Sometimes a singer changes their tone at the end of hitting the high notes but for Yeji, it happens WHILE going up, hitting the high notes. I wish I could explain better lol. I love her vocal quality when she’s singing in high register.
Yes JYPE vocal is different, they can change different notes in just one line, that's why they call them weird and not have great vocal. People mostly just appreciate a singer who only can hit high note with clean vocal. The colours vocal chords is so underrated and unappreciated in K-pop industry.

Don't encourage them with this, highnote in kpop sometimes is so cringe. Look at newjeans, without the highnote still sounds good, their vocals tone just like Yeji. Look at aespa, good vocals but too much highnotes make the songs sounds messy and their vocals sounds very chipmunks. Yeji is already one of the best in live vocal so don't ruined it with all these tryhard highnote, unless the songs really need the highnotes. And if they really need to put some highnotes for certain songs, Lia should in charge that part along with Yeji. Kpop stans sometimes are so backwards, pushing and praising highnotes is actually so 90's, if you have good vocals then you have good vocals, don't ruined the songs with this unnecessary highnote, unless the song would be sounds 'theBest' with some highnotes then yeah it necessary.
