Phillipe is attentive and interested always, whether he is actually having a good day during any given adventure or visit, he always puts forth that effort of being intimately attentive and interested, and I think many of the people he visits, feel and appreciate that childlike curiosity and willingness to listen. Well done Phillipe 👍🖖👌You da man, who is also like a boy, in all the good ways 😉May all in the world come to visit each other, and walk in eternal health, heaven on earth, and may we all travel by some sustainable global train system, like renewable/clean energy mag-lev train😂🙏💙💖
I loved learning about the different types of homes and lifestyles in these varying parts of the world. I especially liked learning about the Korowai people! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you❗ there's somthing so positive and healing about watching how other people live particularly the tree people i am richer having watched these lovely strong and wise people💞 and great sense of humour..Phillipe too
Beautiful documentary. Thank you for this documentary. 😊 I love the houses and the people's who live in them. So fortunate to be able to experience these amazing places. What a beautiful world.❤❤❤❤
I just discovered this channel today. Fascinating. You are in Tokyo, etc, but I hear French mixed in to the conversation. I'm guessing the crew is French?? Subscribing...
How does this guy communicate with everyone? He’s participating in the discussions, You hear him speaking French and his interview subjects speaking whatever language they speak and they seem to understand one another. I’ve seen a few of these compilations with him and I just don’t understand. Is there an interpreter?
@ lol thanks. I figured as much , but the conversations just seemed so fluid, especially as he’s nodding in agreement or understanding as the other person is talking, I figured maybe he spoke a few languages and would have a conversation with other people who speak / understand French. I didn’t know why they just wouldn’t speak the same language to begin with. obviously I was overthinking it
I Love Tokyo that every house look different. They have good zoning law unlike Western countries where you can't build anything without getting a lawsuits
You must charge TOURISTS, $2-300 US, garbage tax. The average tourist leaves behind 52.7 K.‘s of recoverable trash and waste. Upon departure, 75% of tariff is returned with proofs of waste being recycled or deposited at authorized council or federal waste substations. Do it!!!!! You silly gooses. Just do it.
Feels like paid propaganda. "The city is planned to be an extension of the home since you are crammed in a closet wherever you go." The big Asian cities are clearly hell. Japan has a baby making problem, youth addicted to work and technology, happiness at an all time low.
This just goes to show how brainwashed those people are.. as she slides the wall away she says and here’s our kitchen… no no. You didn’t just reveal a kitchen you showed us a sink! How sad these people think this is an ok way to live and an ok way to bring up children.. this is sad, how brainwashed these people are.
Please keep doing this wonderful work...All your documentaries are the only source for people who can't travel because of lack of time and money...
So interesting to see how innovative and beautiful these tiny homes are and what peaceful sanctuaries they have become for the families .
Watch these documentaries all the way through….totally amazing.

I like so much
You called it a tunnel house, but what I know is called a shoe box house in the US.
Th shoebox house is different. Did you see how far down the tunnel the actual house was?

14:20 “You can go to a love hotel, for example.”
Cut to: Creepy nodding and smiling foreign man.
Only foreign to a foreigner 😉
Tokyo, Japan is in East Asia, not South-East Asia.

Japan is not southeast Asia bruh
Same family, same home twice 🤷🏼♀️
Uhm....Japan, Nepal and China is not in Southeast asia and havent heard of West Papoua.
West Papua is a province in Indonesia
Why don’t other cities adopt this type of housing?
you mean traditional homes of SEA, no we dont live like this lol. Mansions are also common
So similar to us in the west. Thank you for info.
Japan is East Asia

13,000 people per sq. meter?! Better recheck your numbers! LOL!
I thought he said per square kilometre but if you're from America, you follow the British Imperial measurement system...king's thumb, king's foot...
Re Hanoi, I hope he’s not assuming there are no road safety issues, based on an assumption founded on not seeing accidents?
no trees no nature so small so depressing
😢 That looks like prison to me.
Which part??? It goes to several places.
The North American Capitalist way is the worst prison with dollar & clock slaves for gluttony
13500 inhabitants per square metre? Wow, the Japanese must be really tiny 😂
Stop talking about people who don't have the freedom to speak when you can always leave when you don't like it
